The Glendale City Council voted unanimously Friday to end their six-week legal dispute with the Arizona Coyotes that will keep the team playing at Gila River Arena.
The council voted 7-0 to rescind its decision on June 10 to cancel an arena management contract with the Coyotes and to enact an amended two-year deal with the team.
The city and Coyotes have been fighting over the 15-year, $225 million lease for Gila River Arena since the council voted last month to terminate the agreement. The Coyotes then obtained a restraining order to keep the city from dissolving the agreement. A hearing had been scheduled for July 31.
I think the Glendale City Council should have "stuck to their guns". hockey in the desert is, and always has been, a JOKE
the ONLY thing MORE crazy is when Las Vegas gets an expansion team. "The Craps"?

If Covers users got to name the team I think they would be called The Las Vegas Fix
actually MY pick is Las Vegas Aces same as our old semi-pro club team back in the 1990's. aside from the obvious gaming name it also is a tie in to Nellis AFB with "fighter pilot aces"
