First of all, let it be known that the NY Rangers have had some big-time breaks to get to this stage of the NHL postseason. The fact that they went seven games with Philadelphia in round one before taking game seven on home ice by a 2-1 score. However many forget the fact that the Strangers enjoyed the luxury of playing against the Flyers backup netminder for games one and two of that opening round. Oh and how about round three where they went six games against the Canadiens backup rookie netminder? Talk about a luxury! Of course everybody knows Montreal had to play the final five games of that series without the services of their star goaltender Carey Price. In conclusion then it's no secret that this NY Stranger club has everything going for it, most importantly the breaks. Lets face it, they wouldn't be in this position had Mason or Price suited up for the entire series against them but hey, 'dem's da breaks' as the saying goes and New York definitely has them. I can't see anything changing now that the Stanley Cup Finals are upon us and for that reason, the New York Rangers are a guaranteed LOCK to win the series against the Los Angeles Kings.
