2013 overall Playoff Puck Picks Record: 196-494-3 for +11.9 UNITS

It took awhile for the HAWX chances to turn into goals but by games end their dominance paid off and they cruised to a 4-1 win earning me just under a unit on the night.

For today's early game it took me awhile to decide how to go but after looking it over I think the RAGS are the team to back. I was against them on the road in every game last series but despite going 1-2 in their L3 (away) games against WASH their road game has been pretty good,especially on the defensive end of the ice.

The RAGS lost 1-0 and 2-1 o.t decisions to the CAPS before polishing them off in game 7 at the Verizon Center with a convincing 5-0 beatdown.

And after the crazy comeback by the BRUINS (so I've heard,never watched it) BOS could be in for a lil letdown spot in this one. And more importantly to me they're also likely to be without 3 of their top 4 defensemam which is a boatload of minutes to make up. Plus that just means more pressure and more t.o.ice for the big man and as the LEAFS showed you can have some success against him when you put the body on him and finish every check. Chara was also sucked into a few frustration penalties against the LEAFS and with the other top 3 D-men out the BOS penalty kill could really struggle.

The late game is also a lil tricky. I had fully planned to back the home team in this series given both teams have home winning percentages well into the 80's this season (SJ 19-2 & LAK 23-4) but for some reason on the hunch the SHARKS may get the split I took them. Well it didn't work out and thankfully yesterday with CHI I took the home team in game 1 and was ready to re-up on them in game two.

And now with the KINGS already up 1-0 for the series I guess I could go back to the SHARKS and "hope" they get a split but with the KINGS are just beasts at home. And yes the SHARKS did look like the better teams in parts of game 1,as I've said a bunch this year the KINGS just find ways to get the wins.

And with Quick's sick form of a 1.36 goals against and .953 save % and Niemi's 1.9 gaa and .932 save% I'll also mix in the under until one of these two starts letting some damn goals in.

Damn the BROONS almost popped in a buzzer beater for the win. And I'm already pt committed so to speak on the RAGS but I don't like them in o.t. And a main reason is cuz inexplicably King Hank has an ugly record in them....something like 3-8 L11 games......that with BOS being at home is enough for me to put a lil on BOS in o.t,enough to potentially recoup my RAGS play for 0.25 units

With 13:50 left the "will there be o.t" YES is already -125  thats seems wicked high. The "NO" is -110 too so not great value on that but given the 2 choices "NO" seems the way to go....no?
