Rangers 10-1
Kings 10-1
Blackhawks 10-1
Blues 10-1
Flyers 10-1

Avalanche 60-1
Maple Leafs 60-1
Flames 100-1
Islanders 100-1
Hurricanes 100-1
Wild 200-1
Bluejackets 300-1

think there is an excellent chance for the Kings to repeat at least in the West. decent price @ 9-2 and 10-1.

Sharks look like a "value" @ 12-1 and 25-1 only because they likely will likely make the playoffs

longshots Panthers and Coyotes could be interesting @ 20-1 and 40-1

and even though I'm a Penguins fan, I think them being the preseason fav is NUTS

i wonder what the bugs odds would have been last week, the pesky sens at 20 and 40 also, and to think i had them penciled in at 15 in the east this past season  i dont think your pens being favs are all that nuts, fluery looking over his shoulder at vokoun might make this a very formable tandem, a tweak or two at defense it could happen, they had me(as many others) sold during thier runs during the regular season. still wondering if the new state of phoenix will be for best or worse? the preds at 15 to 1 might deserve a look also, but still contingent on july first!

What are the odds for the Canucks to win the Presidents Trophy then choke in the playoffs...is there a line out for that yet?

Nah just didn't hit the Shift key correct although I tend to agree with HookEm'. think both my Pennies AND the Canucks have over-rated odds.

and I think the Blues definately have the D & G to get there BUT have to find offense. IF I have BOTH the Kings and Blues at the same price, I will take the Kings.

here is a "post draft" update from LVS. I guess some people agree with Roonie because thei Leafs conference and Cup odds took a dump. the other "major move" was with the Hurricanes after they aquired Jordan Staal. Lightning, Jets and Canadiens have gone UP in "value"

NO changes with Western teams

I don't know. you will have to ask HookEm'

of the 5 western 9-2 conference and 10-1 Cup odds teams, I think the Kings are the obvious "best bet" to at least go to the finals again

Wait till you get better odds on most of the faves.

Carolina looks interesting at 100-1.

It's a crapshoot to pick a team this early.  So many things happen during the long season like injuries and trades ie Pronger, Richards and Carter which affects everything.  My picks are more political than analytical.  In the east i like Buffalo 10-1 and Capitals 12-1.  In the west I def like the Blues.  Pietrangelo will be healthy again and he's their best player.  Crappy odds at 9-2

The Sabres at 20-1 to win the Cup (11th) and 10-1 to win the East ( 5th) seems perplexing to me. considering they didn't even make the playoffs this year..... wonder who Vegas is thinking they sign in a few weeks to give them such low odds.

Ok, plan B is now the Minnesots Wild.  100-1 for the conference and 200-1 for all the marbles.  I'm pretty sure the odds have gone down after the double signing.  Both the Blues and the WIld have been cup-less for 45 yrs and one of them might change that somehow.

Yeah lol

I guaranteed Blues or Rangers won't win the cup before the start of the playoffs.  You could say not much of a prediction but they were #1 and #2 seeds.

Then you have all these idiots on covers saying Niners will be one of the worst teams in the NFL and want to bet me they won't even win 5 games.  Try 13 wins.  Then a slew of morons were so confident Lions would win more games than the Niners. lol  Too bad these kids don't have any real money to be take from.

So if you take the Blues/Kings and give me the rest of the Western conference, what odds do you give me? -500??? lol

Kings are not repeating that's just an NHL fact.  Getting them 35-1 before the playoffs is great, taking 10-1 thinking they repeat is a joke.
