I don't know!!!

looks like the "Mo" has turned for the Devils. ALL the pressure is on the Kings and Quick after the last two games. will there be a "time warp" back the 1942? doubtful BUT it COULD happen.

looks like the "Larry Lock" has the Kings completely frustrated and, like I read in another post, "it's Quick vs a LEGEND" in goal. Kings BETTER "close out" Monday OR "der Konig kase bekommt verbindlich" (the Kings chesse gets binding)

the Kings line is lower than for the first two in LA @ Devils +155 Kings -165 @ LVH superbook

I hope you are right!!! I have a huge bet on Kings to win the series and i'm not feeling very comfortable right now.  It seems like the pressure is getting to Quick while Marty is making the huge saves for his team.  Kings better win in 6 or they are in major trouble

i do see the momentum swing, the reason i took last night off(unfortunate, cause i would have won)  but splitting up my post season, by taking off last night, i can make this a 2 game series on thier dime! and i always go against history, of course sometimes it works and sometimes it dont(just like everything else, but still looking for that 1 perfect play so i can throw my tools out!) i will go against the devils being only the second team to come back from being down 3-0!(70 freaking years!) best of luck rink rat!

potvin   hey my brother I really wish you luck I might as well tell you because you are the only brother that know's other then my brother's at CAPPING THE GAME, my home base I have 5.000 on the series price at +155 so yes I want to win but if L.A.K. do lose then it's the end of the series N.J. will win this series but that's a big if monday I put this as a must win for L.A.K. I know that even if they lose they have game number 7 but if it goes that far game 7 might be a big time blowout N.J. won't lose game 7 but all in all gl my brother i'm on the other side money value is to great to pass up

i hear you and wish you luck also my brother hydro!  however it appears to be the forums thoughts that tommorow is a gamble and if the devils win, game 7 is a sure thing!  thats funny, if you read my 4th post, im still looking! there is no sure thing! and tommorow is less than a gamble than you think! value is only value when the play comes in!

will there be a "time warp" back the 1942? doubtful BUT it COULD happen.

we all know about the 1942 Leafs "lazarus" BUT I'm wondering HOW many Stanley Cup finals teams have come back from down 0-3 to make it 3-3 ONLY to FALL SHORT in Game 7 ???

I heard something that when a team goes up 3-0 in the finals, a Game 6 was only forced 5 times in history.  So the number of times a Game 7 was forced is maybe 1-2 times max in the history of this sport.  Devils have already defied the odds to get to this point and I have been impressed with this team's character throughout this series.  Game 6 will be extremely nerve racking for all Kings series backers

thanks, VD

looks like a 0-3 to 3-3 comback just twice in the Finals, both back in the 1940's

according to http://www.whowins.com/2012series/nhl2012o.html,

Ignoring win order; considering site order: The team leading 3-games-2 with site order VVHHV (L.A. Kings) has the following best-of-7 playoff series and games record through the 2012 NHL Semifinals.  series record, NHL only, Finals round: 5-4 (.556). Game 6 record, NHL only, Finals round: 4-5 (.444)

Considering win order; ignoring site order: The team leading WWWLL irrespective of site order (L.A. Kings) has the following best-of-7 playoff series and games record through the 2012 NHL Semifinals. series record, NHL only, Finals round: 1-1 (.500). Game 6 record, NHL only, Finals round: 0-2 (.000)

Considering win order; considering site order: The team leading WWWLL with site order VVHHV (L.A. Kings) has the following best-of-7 playoff series and games record through the 2012 NHL Semifinals. series record, NHL only, Finals round: 1-1 (.500). Game 6 record, NHL only, Finals round: 0-2 (.000

maybe "alles vogelscheisse" (all birdshit) because, like VD pointed out, the data basis is SO small because the situation is SO rare

the Kings line is lower than for the first two in LA @ Devils +155 Kings -165 @ LVH superbook

now Devils +150 Kings -160

The Kings will jump on the Devils in Game 6 and end it early. New Jersey has a lot of heart and they play hard but they're still getting no traffic in front of Quick and both their goals in Game 5 were flukes. The Kings win the Stanley Cup Monday night.

The SCFinals have ended in # games...

4 games - 20 times (last in 1998)

5 games - 7 times

6 games - 19 times

7 games - 16 times

(stats per NHL Network)

LET'S GO KINGS...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the Kings had lost the first two games in NJ and then won games 3, 4 and 5 I'd be more concerned because they would be trying to win thier 4th in a row in game 6... but since they lost the last two (which they were both in those games)... I like them to rebound and get 'er done on Monday Night in front of the "HockeyWood" crowd... It's in the script...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know they counted on the scoreboard but the two NJ goal were so rare they would not see two like that again in 500 games... and they got then BOTH in one game.

Marty played well... but face it... the goal post behind him have played well also these last two games.

In game 6... I think the Kings grab a 2-0 first period lead and add 1 more in the 2nd period before adding an ENG late for a 4-0 winner.

Time for Martina Brodeur to "fade into Bolivian" as Mike Tyson once said.

 - GAME 6 - Final Score

KINGS 4

NJD 0

GL Potvin, I was on Kings in game 5, couldn't get it done. I think things are going good for the Devils right now. But we will watch and see. Cheers buddy.
