interesting stat.  no team in history of nhl have won fist 2 rounds in 7 games and gone on to win lord stanley.  as a ranger fan this is not good, however, i do think we win game 7....

have faith in your team....  i'm fairly sure that no team has played in 3 game 7's and won the cup untill the Bruins did that last year

Before the Kings current run...

No 8 seed had ever beaten the #1 AND #2 seeds in the same playoff season...

... and No #8 seed had ever beaten a #2 seed in just 4 games.

Trends were made to be broken... But I hope it's only the Kings who continue to do so...

Absolutely, these streaks always get broken some time - why not now?  Ranges came out last night with no energy in a hostile building, quick penalty, and getting down 1-0 in first two minutes is like smacked in the head, they couldn't really recover.  I fully expect them to play inspired hockey Saturday night back home, realizing that the road to Stanley Cup has been paved for them.

They could pull out the W, but the road is hardly paved for them.... they still have to beat NJ and then a well rested Team from the west. I still think the caps will win game 7, which would make it all underdog teams advancing to the final four

the bruins did it last year with winning first and 3rd round and also the stanley cup in 7 games, that stat means nothing

These stats/trends are foolish.  Whoever wins tomorrow night has as good a chance to win the Cup as the other 3 remaining teams.  I haven't been overly impressed with New Jersey to be honest.  I think they can really be exploited by either team.

no number 8 seed has won the cup, does that mean the Kings won't do it this year, i think not.... they got the best chance out of any team right now

Gotta love all the Coyote and Kings fans who have suddenly appeared from behind the drywall and the various crevices. Never seems to fail as there always seems to be team followers whenever any team, and I mean any team, makes it to the conference finals, etc.
