This garbage is for CANUCKS FANS ONLY, the rest of ya can darn off untill the playoffs are over, no offence.

Canucks to lay the boots to Richards, Carter and the LA Queens @ 1.47 (low odds but the right ones)

Canucks to win the West @ 2.90

Canucks to bring it all home @ 5.50

Canucks game 1 ml @ 1.60

WE ARE ALL CANUCKS!!!

friggin rights it's our time, the key to this year is to quit friggin around with 7 game series, get it done in 6 or less. All that wear and tear takes it's toll after awile. LA is a good early match up for us, while Quick is an elite goaltender, most of the game should be played in LA's zone, not having to travel outside of our time zone is huge.

Nucks fans:

What teams do you fear the most? What concerns do you have for your team? Is there a particular style of play by another team that will give the Nucks the most trouble? How has Kassian looked?

There's no reason to fear anybody or concern ourself with another teams style of play, when healthy our depth and talent matches anybody, If Lou falters, we got Schneider as the 1b, either than the Blues who else can say that. Kassian is basically a checker, I think he's hurt right now but when he's in the lineup he will be on the 3rd or 4th line.

I managed to get the Canucks @ +650 to win it all a week and a half ago.

The boys will take it in 6 @ Pittsburgh on June 12 or 13!

If you're so confident that the Canucks will win it ALL

Then why don't you bet the House on the measly first series

at the low low price of 2-1?

Typical loudmouth, jerkoff, hillbilly Vancouver fan...all talk, nothing to show for it...reality check dummy: (1) nobody in the league likes ur team, (2) nobody in the league likes ur fans, (3) nobody in the team likes ur city, (4) Luongo WILL have another play off meltdown, and will spend the better half of the playoffs sitting on the bench with that stupid blank look on his face, while Schneider unsuccessfully attempts to bail him out...get ready to loot some more, loser.

I always keep my eye on teams that LOST the Finals in the previous year. Many times that team is on the upward swing and eventually gets thiers. Vancouver has just as good a shot as the others.

1983 LOSER = Oilers... Won Cups in 84, 85, 87, 88, 90

1986 LOSER = Flames... Won Cup in 89

1995 LOSER = Wings... Won Cups in 97, 98, 02, 08

2001 LOSER = NewJersey... Won Cup in 03

2002 LOSER = Carolina... Won Cup in 06

2003 LOSER = Ducks... Won Cup in 07

2008 LOSER = Penguins... Won Cup in 09

2011 LOSER = Canucks... ??? ??? ?? ??

NOTE: The L-5 teams to lose the Cup are currently in the playoffs... OTT-2007, PIT-2008, DET-2009, PHI-2010, VAN-2011

NOTE: Current Teams in Playoffs and thier L-trip to the Finals...

EASTERN CONFERENCE

NYR-1994(W) vs OTT-2007(L)

BOS-2011(W) vs WAS-1998(L)

FLA-1996(L) vs NJD-2003(W)

PIT-2009(W) vs PHI-2010(L)

WESTERN CONFERENCE

VAN-2011(L) vs LAK-1993(L)

STL-1970(L) vs SJS-NQ (Never Qualified)

PHX-NQ vs CHI-2010(W)

NAS-NQ vs DET-2009(L)

Current Playoff teams who have WON at least ONE SCFinals...

NYR, BOS, NJ, PIT, PHI, CHI, DET - NOTE: Each of these teams has won multiple SCFinals and only the NYR and CHI have not won multiple SCFinals since the 1967 NHL expansion.

NOTE : Only NJ, PIT and DET have won multiple SCFinals since 1990.

NOTE: Only NJ and DET have won multiple SCFinals since 2000.

NOTE: Since 2000 only NJ and DET have each been to three SCFinal and are both 2-1 in those Finals.

NOTE: Since the 1967 NHL expansion... Each BOS(70-72-11), PIT(91-92-09) and NJD(95-00-03) have had a different head coach in each of thier L-3 SCFinals Wins... Montreal has also done this(79-86-93) but obviously did not make the playoffs this season... and ONLY the NJD can win its 4th SCF with a 4th different HC THIS SEASON if they win the SCFinals.

NOTE: Head Coach Scotty Bowman won SCFinals with each of MON, PIT and DET... Only John Tortorella-NYR-(TB-04), Ken Hitchcock-STL-(DAL-99) and Peter Laviolette-PHI-(CAR-06) have an opportunity THIS SEASON to win a 2nd SCFinals with a different team.

Just some interesting notes to get into the playoff mode...

Good Luck To Your VaNucks

Oh and BTW, I don't think the Nucks win the cup this year.  Thier schedule was way weak and when they go against playoff teams here it will show.  I think the Kings have a punchers chance to win this series.  But really.....As long as they win game 1 I'm fine with it.

The only team that I think could spank us ( Canucks ) are the Penguins. Hopefully some team in the East upsets them on the way if we make it to the finals.

Skubi...Interesting list. I would take the Devils off it though, because they had already won it. They won their first trip to the final in 95 by sweeping the Wings, so they knew how to be winners from the get go and their other trips to the final just cemented them as a championship team.

We also could make a list of teams that lost in the final and then never won the Cup again with the same group of players, which is what the Canucks are trying to do. Going by a five to ten year span as after that ofcourse they would be completely different teams, and no longer the same group of players.

Blues 68,69,70. Never.

Rangers 72...Franchise won in 93.

Flyers 76,80,85,87,97 The had won already in 74,75 so the 76 team gets a pass and even though a different team for the most part, maybe a pass to the 80 team as well.

Bruins 74,77,78,88,90  They had already won in 70 and 72 so the 74 team gets a pass, after that they were a different team. Franchise got one again in 2011.

Blues 68,69,70.

Rangers 72. Franchise eventually won again in 93.

Hawks 73, 92. Franchise eventually got one again in 2010.

Sabres 75, 99. Never.

North Stars 81,91. Franchised moved to Dallas and won in 99.

Kings 93 Never.

Panthers 96 Never.

Capitals 98 Never.

Oilers 2006 The Franchise had won two decades earlier though.

Senators 07 Never.

CANUCKS 82,93,11  Did this act twice already.

Just playing devils advocate Skubi. Interesting numbers/stats you posted
