I would love to pull the trigger on the Tampa TT o2.5 (-131), but I'm trying to ask myself why it's set at 2.5 and not 3.

Nice piece regarding the Preds jersey your Dad bought you for Christmas Spartacus, very nice and something to treasure and hang on to as well. Suiting up on the same team as his brother I think will bring out the best in Andrei Kostitson for Nashville. The two may have very productive postseason performances this spring. This team is very strong on the defensive side and yesterdauy's addition was definitely a sign that they plan to make a very strong run this year.

Ottawa (and I don't like the Sens). Believe me I really hear about it from brothers, nieces and nephews as well, not to mention Mom.

That's similar to my uncle. Lives in Vancouver and he is a Canucks fan, but he will always be a Leafs fan at heart. It was funny when Vancouver beat the Leafs a couple weeks ago he wanted the Leafs to win so badly because he knows the Canucks are going to make the playoffs and they didn't need the win. I wonder how badly he be torn if the Leafs ever faced the Canucks in the cup finals.

I am always a Leafs fan #1, but my 2nd favourite team was Nashville since the first year they came into the league, when I was about 8 years old. I still have my tiny little Predators jersey my dad bought me for Christmas that year. It's nice that at least I have had a team to cheer for in the palyoffs lately. There is something about this team this year though. For years everyone said they would never make the cup, they are too small of a market to attract big talent, but what they overlooked was the best coach in the NHL. The system Barry has implemented there is amazing, the players love playing for him, and Rinne is an absolute stud. I'm trying to find the best odds possible for the Preds to win the cup because they are serious this year. I don't think Detroit has the team to make a deep playoff run. So the only other team I see standing in the Preds way is Vancouver, and I believe they will also be extremely hungry this year again. Regardless, I love their chances.

The Blues are very real--

Tampa Bay TT o2.5 (-131) 2u

Didn't realize I had already added Tampa TT to my other updated card, regardless I just pulled the trigger on it so doesn't matter now. Couldn't pass up the Islanders either as the Caps shouldn't be that big of a favourite. I think the line is where it is largely due to public perception and Washington being more of a public team. Hope all of you have a great night and cash (except if your against me ). As always, Good luck tonight everyone.

Well this is looking like a pretty brutal night. And just as I'm typing this the Caps tie up the game with less than 30 seconds to go.

Today: 0-6 -15.14u

This was the most random night I have experienced in betting on the NHL. At this point, there is nothing to say. Going 0-6 dropping 15.14u is just laughable. Like they say, it's just as hard to go 0-6 as it is to go 6-0.

Pre All Star Break: 40-17-6 +22.46u (+$5615)

Post All Star Break: 30-42-5 -17.69u (-$4154)

Dropped 16.35u at $250 per unit (-$4087)
Dropped 1.34u at $50 per unit (-$67)

I changed my units about a week ago from $250 to $50 and started betting 1-5 units a game instead of flat betting $250 as I had stated in my thread. When I switched my units, I was still +6.11u betting $250 a game. I have had such a bad run in the 2nd half I may just hang it up and keep my $1400 for playoffs and MLB. I know I have the ability to cap games well, but I feel like I let greed get the best of me. I was doing perfectly fine before the break betting 1-2 plays a night, maybe 3-4 on rare occasion, as well as flat betting 1 unit, with a rare 2 unit play. I started betting way too many games per night adding too many 2 unit plays instead of sticking to what worked for me. About a week ago I divided my unit by 5 and played a 1-5 unit system, but I don't think I like it all that much. Instead of spreading out a bunch of money over multiple games, it was working much better for me when I put all my focus into a couple games, capped it completely, and put a larger amount of money on it. I am still young and I made an amateur mistake, it's happened to a lot of people, and I became a victim as well. No excuses as I blame no one but myself. This game is about discipline, and failure usually results in a busted bankroll. Fortunately I still have some profit to show for myself, and for that I'm thankful.

Trust me you aint the only one losing after the all star break. I try to take a night off and then I check the scores and see what could have been. And end up friggin myself the next day. Playoffs always seem to do well for me so lets just take it ez.

This is my first year of capping NHL and wagering on single games, so overall I think I had a pretty good first season. I'm still up over $2000 in NBA, so I'll probably stick to that until the playoffs or MLB. I thought at the very least you would give a little bit of respect for admitting my faults, but apparently not. I'll just treat this situation the same as every single time before this. I would never wish for anyone to lose money at this game, I'm just not that kind of person. Other than my little run in with coolfool and goldusttt, who I still never disrespected in any way, I've been respectful and kind with everyone in this forum. Maybe you will get over what ever problem you have with me, maybe not, but it's pretty childish to constantly talk about me in your thread and then come over and do it in mine. I haven't done or said anything to you or about you, so there's no reason to be acting the way you are. Just like I have done every other time in the past you have had some remark for me, I'll just say Good luck and I wish you continued success curitiba.
