Sad to see that this series is already over. But it was kind of expected. After game 4 i was confident that Warriors would seal the deal in 6, they won in convincingly fashion and Cavs just didnt have no tools available for them to turn this series around. But i still feel like this series had the potential to be the best series of all time. Not because that this is the two best teams in the history, because they are not (especially not cavs), but because of the way that they match up. Warriors deserved the win. Igoudala deserved the MVP title as well. He put on a big show offensively, much more than people could expect of him and he played lights out on the defensive end. Congratulations to Warriors and Igoudala. Splash brothers didnt play that well throughout this finals series, if they played at their regular high level i think this series would be over in 5 (still considering that Love and Irving are injured). People blaming LeBron for this loss are idiots. People not considering LeBron as a top 5 player all time are idiots. Having a 2-4 record in the finals does not disqualify him from being considered one of the very best, if not the best of all time. How many rings would MJ have if he played next to 4 guys in a wheelchair? Did any of yall expect Cleveland would be able to win with this team against the Warriors? Or the 2007 Cavs team for that matter? These finals were almost guaranteed losses on paper unless you could get performances like the one Battier and Chalmers came up with for the Heat team. Being able to beat that Spurs team was almost impossible for Heat as well... You have Ginobilli comming in FROM THE BENCH shooting lights out percentages, you have Mills comming in from the bench shooting lights out. Ginobilli would be a starter on any team except for that spurs team, thats how good that guy is and he was on the bench for Spurs... That Spurs team would throw in an 11 and he would knock down 3s like it was nothing. You guys gotta give credit where its due and only blame players when theres really something you can blame them for. LeBron puts up 40 points and a triple-double and yall be talking about some uncalled travel in the second quarter? like wtf? The officiating in this series have been pretty bad on both parts imo, some of the worst officiating ive ever seen to be honest but it went both ways. Well back to the point, with Love and Irving injured this could really have been the best series ever. The Kevin Love matchup with Thompson would be very interesting, i personally believe Kevin would expose Thompson and light up under the "Thompson vs Love" Discussion thats been running ever since these were going to be traded. But its all hypothetical. What about the Irving and Curry matchup? Two incredible point guards head to head on the biggest scene, that would be amazing to witness. And Irving and Love would be able to take pressure off LeBrons shoulders and create an amazing finals series. I would expect a 4-3 series either way with some incredible close games going down to the wire. And Warriors are not invincible, they are so damn good but they can be beaten if you play lights out and you lock down the downtown area where you either live or die. And Cavs died here.
Anyways congratulations to Warriors once again, they have been an incredible team this year and really deserved it.
