Much depends on free agency...and by who retires or who stays... Do you imagine picking mia at those odds and some days after they dismantle the team? xD

By the way, the rolling head is not laughing at the Heat but at the fact that the potential for them winning another championship and the road they must take to recover from this beating (Just like the Spurs did from last year) is very, VERY long! But listen it pays $2.5 for every dollar bet!!

It's pretty funny. Best case scenario for this futures bet is that they keep the big 3 and sign Melo and I put the odds of that happening at 20-1 at least. But listen, take the 2.5 TO 1 for that to happen AND they win the championship in 365 days and be happy with those odds. Lol!

Yeah lol.If they put it like that then maybe a good bet would be for the heat not to win.I'm really curious to see the odds for that one on pinnacle or 5 dimes.

Bulls 15-1 looks good if Love and Melo go there. Blazers 30-1 is interesting with Lillard's expected development. Suns at 70-1 is a joke especially if they swung a huge move at the draft -- like, should the Wolves really be a better bet at 60-1 than Phoenix? That's laughable. Hornets 70-1 is interesting too with their talent and Anthony Davis if he takes the leap.

Good points.
Bulls odds will definitely drop.
Blazers is a sharp lean but still a major long shot (they need one more guy to get out of the west and that player can be no pushover).
And yes, the wolves line with the love fiasco is a joke. I wouldn't bet the wolves at 200-1.

Bovada ran a promotion at the beginning of last year for the heat not to win.
You could bet up to $25 on any team to win the championship except
the Heat. If the Heat didn't win, you get the $25 back today.
I imagine they were refunding a significant amount of money on that (and yes they collected interest on it, I know) even if it was just $25.

I would just put 5 dollars on the cavaliers in case lebron goes there The bulls...i dont like them.simply considering that 2 years out for a player that relied on atlethecism(that can never got back completely) are too much.they need an outstanding free agency to be contenders. spurs could seem a good one...even if i want to see what the vets have intention to do.its the same story of the heat. For the thunder,i would wait for the regular season.

don't waste your money on the bulls there unproven I took them the last 2 times and got burned. Luckily I got the spurs @ +600 this year and heat +200 last year.

You will get better odds on all of them in season -- that said Spurs, Clippers, Thunder and Pacers all have the most value and are closest to a title -- the Rockets are not going to win -- they almost got swept by the Blazers and barring getting Melo will not improve -- Jermey Lin will not win a ring, neither will the bearded imposter -- DEFENSE wins championships -- the Rockets play TERRIBLE DEFENSE -- the Bulls odds are way off too because Chicago teams get abnormally inflated amounts of bets (the Bears are one of the largest bet futures right now) -- field against the Heat is a nice bet if it didn't have that much juice -- making the finals 5 years in a row is VERY VERY tough

If cuban buys lebron we have a problem in germany. The few people that are interested in basketball love dirk and hate lebron. Would mean a lot of bashing in the german forums.

Amazing how they keep disrespecting the Spurs after they literally ran through every team and will most likely further upgrade their team for next year.

I agree with that. It's the same 'ol same 'ol every year with the spurs. Will they be any less motivated to win next year???
No comment from gene on the nets at 45/1 should tell everyone here a lot. He is by far the biggest nets fan on this board.

Well they did luck out and didn't face one team they went 0-4 against (the Rockets) and played the other 0-4 team with a less than 100% Ibaka. If Ibaka is 100%, the Spurs lose that series imo.
I am not sure how the Spurs are upgrading their team next year. They could remain intact and be a very good team.
Duncan might retire for one. As impressive as Splitter is, the Spurs won't win a title with him as the primary big man.
Aside from that, Ginoboli will be 37 in a month and has a lot of wear on his tires.
Parker is an old 32.
Patty Mills will be a free agent. He was a big part of what they did. This will probably be his one chance to get paid. I get the whole team first thing, but let's be real, he isn't signing with the Spurs again for 1.13 million a year.
Boris Diaw is a free agent and 32. He has remade himself into a solid player once again. Due to receive a pay increase.
The Spurs have some decisions to make as well. But I can see why younger teams like the Thunder are equal with them right now in the title odds.
Will the Spurs have enough gas to get the #1 seed again? The Thunder will be looking to add a shooter, big guy, a solid 3 man and are younger. If the Thunder can stay healthy at the right time (something the Spurs have been able to do), they have shown they are more than good enough to knock off the Spurs. The Thunder were a missed illegal screen on Duncan and a very late whistle on Ibakaa in OT from going to a Game 7.
