Pierce choked by every definition of the word.
Rondo can't perform on the road.
It's all over for Boston.

Congrats Heat and Bron well played game sir!

I'll still be talking smack when Durant and those OKC boys are giving him buckets in the finals!

i think many of you subconsciously forget about what lebron james has been about throughout his years in the nba that have really irritated people.  There is no question he is a great player and can do so many different things all around but when he was in cleveland, he managed to go to the finals but then get swept by san antonio in 2007.  If this was the only blemish on his character i believe many people would let him slide, but there's just been too many.  Keep in mind that the cavs were always winning clean, having the best records in the nba, but yet could not get past orlando a year later despite a game winning 3 pointer at the top of the key by lebron james in one of the games.  It just so happened that sometime after that, a rumor was going around that delonte west slept with the mother of lebron james (gloria james) and the cavs and lebron were not the same after that.  Real champions and champions to be will always be able to use motivation on and off the court to fuel their fire, but no in this lebron case and that really pissed a lot of people off who had large money riding on the cavs.  I you remember during that time also during the regular season, the cavs would clown around before games pretending to snap team photos for each other and looking like immature fools.  They would pretend to roll a bowling ball down the alley and then the players would all fall down to simulate a strike where all 10 pins would fall.  Only clowns do this in professional leagues and that is exactly what lebron has done through his years.  In fact he had a tv special on espn to announce what team he was about to sign with before anyone knew he was going to the heat.  Do you not realize how infuriating that people are with lebron james?  It might be really difficult to figure it out if you don't keep up with sports and you live in south beach because hot women can keep the mind preoccupied.  How happy do you think people were when dallas won the championship last year?  Do you think they want the heat to win this year against boston and oklahoma city?  i know many of the things i bring up regarding lebron's childish behaving history in the nba are basic, but it's just a reminder of why everyone hates lebron so now you know what lies deep in the back of their minds over the years.

i'm sure many others can add, but don't forget last year when the heat beat boston, the way they acted after the game, the celebrations, they acted like they won the championship.  I'm sorry but there are many many fans out there that do not appreciate this type of behavior from people who are getting paid millions <smh>

Not a fan of LBJ but he was epic tonight. When he's making jumpers as well, he's pretty unstoppable.

Pierce 4-22 shooting, jeez.

To celebrate after beating Boston last year is a dig on him? That was a very big accomplishment already, think its ok to celebrate. And by losing to Dallas, there's no knock there either. They hands down had the better and deepest team. Yes these the were put together to win, but look at the supporting cast, I mean....cmon. They suck. I stillthink the west has the better, deeper team by far this year also no matter who makes it in the east. So if they can win it all, there shouldn't be any doubters left how good Lebron is. by the way, big three in the west is going to light this team up if Chalmers doesn't start playing better

we can probably ask the same thing about lebron fans in the very many threads about him choking throughout the years. you're supposed to tell us this 1 game erases all those other games where he has dissapeared, choked and given up? darn outta here, dude hasn't even won garbage yet!! i give him props for tonight as it was a good performance.............but it really doesn't change a damn thing

I don't feel that way personally I don't know about others.  He is very talented, most talented player on the planet.  So he can do right.  Only haters are going to say he doesn't belong in hall of fame.  Anyone with half a brain can look at his numbers and individual accolades and know he will be in hall of fame first ballot.
Only problem I have is people comparing him to MJ because that he is not and not close nor is anyone else.

Yes stockton, Malone, Ewing all hall of famers without rings.  None of them are in Jordan's class either.  That's the point.

Wow!! He has one great game and all of a sudden he's the best player on the planet. As I recall, didn't some guy name Rajon Rondo set some kind of playoff record this a few days ago.....

I'd still take Durant over him.  But you can't deny Bron's talented as far as size, strength, power, and skills.  I said most talented not the best

Well, haters paid for their hate (and I mean literally) and now are asking for more workload in their circuses to get some coin back. Don't be like them and don't gloat too much. But some laugh is fine ofc

Lebron haters are some of the most idiotic and irrational people on the planet.

The guy is the best player in the world, the best player to play in the NBA since Michael Jordan and is yes, he IS a clutch performer.

The guy is amazing, plain and simple.

Hahahahah.  He has one good crucial game this playoffs and now he's a clutch performer?  This is hilarious.  He's so clutch he is 0-2 in the finals about to be 0-3 in the finals this year.  Now that's clutch!

Yep, he was most def amazing in the PO's vs Orlando, Boston and Dallas >>> Amazing in his famous walk off, quitting and choking in those vital & meaningful games.

You see all you Lebron fans, it's not "Hating" just because our opinions differ from your own w/ your fanhood of Lebron - Grow the hell up. It's our personal criticism of him, what we see and witness from games, interviews and his actions. A majority of the world don't dislike him for nothing - he gives reasons to. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS!!!? Unless of course the whole world is just plain delusional and crazy - which i'm sure some of you may easily believe.

OP, you need to relax.

Was that his first 40+ points playoff game?

We've all seen it before. We all know he is capable of greatness.

He runs the half marathon, we're still waiting for him to go ahead and finish the job.

I'll give credit where credit is due, it was a clutch performance, not the get your team out of the hole in the 4th quarter but clutch nevertheless.

I've hedged my C's futures bet with Miami not only because I had my doubts with the refs calling a fair game but Lebron stepping up like a MVP should.

I liked his expression from the start of the game, he knows what he's gotta do, made a statement to his critics, now go on and get it done.

Best performance by Lebron with everything on the line, imo.

I respect KD but this has to be Lebron's time.

I am not going against the grain. I think if Miami get behind its over in Boston. No way they come back, especially with the

ENORMOUS pressure situation....& We all know what Lebrick does in pressure situations....

9-2 in Big 3 era for Boston in game 6's.

Celtics Take this

BTW did you not post this thread before the game?
