Moments like this make you wonder if that's what sports really is about, that in-bounds pass by Kobe looked like an intentional turnover...sick

They didn't need to throw the game.

They had Steve Blake.

Bad pass to Kobe, can't inbound and couldn't hit the shot.

Did you know Steve Blake was an alien?

Let's throw the game, you friggin retard.

Dude, I loss money on that game, and even I know they didn't throw that game.

You should really keep comments like this to yourself, cuz it really shows how ignorant you are!

please just shut up. you've been losing too much and crying about fixed games for too long. they choked, and thats all that happened. to think they would intentionally lose a game they had wrapped up is just silly. yea, i won my play on the Lakers but I would gladly give it back for a Laker W.

This one sucks......

I think you spelled Kobe Bryant wrong. You can pin this loss on Blake. Kobe throws the ball to Durant and doesnt hustle back to even try to foul him. Then the pass from Blake. But then Kobe gets blocked by Harden. The Beard scores on a layup. Then Kobe jacks up an ill-advised 3 with more than enough time left on the clock. KD scores....

Kobe's my boy, and I love my Lakers, but this one is on no.24

Just like LeBron, when you're paid the big bucks, and he most definitely does, then you shoulder the blame. Especially when you shoot 9-25 mostly on jumpers in a game where it was pretty obvious the Lakers were getting friendly whistles from the jump.

heh you guys just listed all the reasons they lost yourselves and don't see this as a sub-par effort to even compete? they would have had more chance if they just dribbled out the shot clock every possession...I have been a Kobe fan from the start of his career and will not believe that a player of that caliber is capable of making a mental mistake such as passing the ball to Durant on an inbound pass at that stage of the game....VERY UPSET about the result, might just be my emotions speaking, but this was a very iffy end to a very important game

So say Kobe did throw the game....What exactly did he have to gain from it that is more important than him chasing a 6th ring and contributing to his legacy as one if not the best player to ever play the game?

@Raw-like-Sushi love the "if not the best player to ever play the game" :) As I said this is more emotions then fact...We could say $50 million, even if it was the case we will never know and I will never believe it that a competitor such as Kobe would do that....I just really really do not understand what the hell took place in those last 2 minutes of the game...Could have been going back to L.A. with home-court advantage and sitting at 1-1...being in a 2-0 hole is much tougher and the shot selection along with the very odd turnovers just cant help but bring the though of games being thrown to mind

Man garbage happens, all I can say is that he folded and made some bone head mistakes, and we just don't expect that from a legend such as kobe. It was pretty shocking, but sometimes the greats darn up, they're human too! I think he has a hard time trusting his team, especially in crunch time like that, and all the pressure and expectations of himself go to him.

thats right--because at the momenti he was the only man--wide open --- he just isnt  a clucth player---OKC deffense was  great on that final sequence as they clamped the real important threats-- but never the less they left blake witha  clear open look---- but blew it----
