they would have been a lot better off had bosh not gotten hurt, he may not be the high profile flashy player, but he is a key cog in the miami heats game plan, and they are obviously hurting without him |

I agree.
With Bosh out, it just got real tough for the Heat.
Wade will do his best to destruct this team.
GL with OKC

#54 Posted: 5/29/2012 11:59:29 PM Ok 2 teamer you're down 2-0 heading back home, what are you thinking about your YOUNG Thunder now? How many games will they win, if any?
Just curious where you stand after being "schooled" twice
What will the series odds be for OKC now?

 2 TEAMER
I can NEVER remember a day when via so many sports media outlets described SPURS behind whooping on THUNDER as being taken to "SCHOOL" sooooooo elementary
Wide open 3's, easy inside layups and put "ins" that ANYBODY could ever remember in a playoff game no less....
At least OKC series odds are up to +455 Worth hedging?

I say tomorrow it'll be around +200, +220 ? I would have played it at those odds but I just didn't(don't now either for that matter) see Thunder winning for 4 of 5 from a team that just won 20 in a row
But I am a little concerned when you get your behind wiped by 20+ in that fashion I'm just glad POP understood it was THUNDER"S night, waved his "whitey" and plays for Saturday night
Congrats on the Thunder and UNDER call Enjoy your winnings

yeah he knows how to manage his team, they will more than likely give an all out effort on saturday, i just hope the thunder can maintain the momentum they created tonight...
i really think now the key to the series is game 4, if the thunder can win, then its a 3 game series, the thunder made necessary adjustments tonight and hopefully it can carry over...

#65 Posted: 6/1/2012 12:11:59 AM You DO REALIZE I want everything you just posted to "NOT HAPPEN"
Yes, OKC youth, long arms. and energy REALLY concern me as I know this could be 2-1 other way but............that's why I made future wagers over a month ago on SPURS
This WILL BE SAS last chance to win an NBA Title for a VERY VERY long time AND I think POP, Duncan, Parker and Ginobli ALL realize this will be their final SWAN SONG
Undoubtedly, tonight FULLY demonstrated the imminent future for both franchises Da Spurs are only 6 wins away from climbing the FINAL precipice

#66 Posted: 6/1/2012 12:23:38 AM yeah crusher i realize u r on the spurs, and i gave Pop his due credit for knowing his team and how to manage his players....
people were sayin Brooks wouldnt be able to make the necessary adjustments for the game tonight but he did by putting, Thabo on parker and Collison, who is a better perimeter defender than Ibaka, on Duncan which allowed them to switch on the pick and roll... kind of what the heat did last night in the 2h they started switching onto Rondo and cuz of that he wasnt as aggressive as he was in the first...
now the key is if Pop can adjust, which he probably will, and find a way to get his offense going... thats how the thunder won tonight they tightened up on D which led to transition offense... |

#67 Posted: 6/1/2012 12:57:51 AM You're totally right 2 Teamer.
How will Pop adjust to Brook's adjustments I noticed Collison and Cefalo's "D" the MAJOR difference tonight which led to many easy OKC baskets in transition off turnovers, plus, SA gave "up" early which was smart. Wait and play for another day.....Just one battle of how many........... SA are Vets while OKC are young and energetic upcoming, natty "pests",
SA only hope is POP's coaching experience at this point

#68 Posted: 6/1/2012 1:34:16 AM No i think i think their vetern leadership and experience are uge factors for them... if tey werent playing the thunder i would like the spurs to beat any other team out of the west...
i think we can agree on this though, who ever wins the west take the title |

#70 Posted: 6/3/2012 3:18:58 AM its 2-2 series is all squared up... wheres all the people that were talking garbage when the Thunder were down 0-2? im glad i stuck by this team, they prove they have heart... also they could easily be up 3-1 right if not for that 4th quarter melt down game 1.... it seems their youth and talent may be too much for the Spurs....
i think they can still close this out in 6... |

#75 Posted: 6/5/2012 3:15:57 AM You might be right 2team but it's still too soon to tell imo.
One more thing. You said you'd bump this thread after every series and i see you bumping it after every game. Can you explain that? |
