Doing my research will be back with Saturday's plays tonight or early Sat morning.................

Just something to CHEW ON....

So far :

Game 1's : %'s on SPREAD

Bulls - 82% - 79% on OVER
Knicks - 76% - 84% on UNDER
Pacers - 83% - 80% on UNDER
Mavericks - 84% - 70% on UNDER

These %'s are an average of 3 different sources. IMO trusted sources.

CENTER: Knicks center Tyson Chandler anchored the Mavericks' defense in last season's NBA Finals upset of the Heat and remains among the league's most imposing deterrents in the middle. By the end of the Finals, the Heat simply stopped attacking in the paint. The Heat have switched up their approach at the position, with Chris Bosh moving into the middle, which should occupy Chandler to a far greater degree than Joel Anthonydid in last season's Finals. Bosh must step up with his rebounding. Must. EDGE: EVEN

POWER FORWARD: Based on pedigree, the Knicks'Amare Stoudemire clearly is the superior talent to the Heat's Udonis Haslem. But there are plenty of variables in play here, including whether Stoudemire is fully over his late-season back issues and whether he can remain effective while playing alongside Carmelo Anthony, chemistry that mostly has gone awry, save for some late-season success. For Haslem, it comes down to rebounding and defense, and likely more than a few minutes matched up against Tyson Chandler. EDGE: KNICKS

SMALL FORWARD: This just might be the marquee matchup of the entire postseason, league-wide, no matter the preliminary level of this round. While the Heat's LeBron James has enjoyed a degree of statistical success against Carmelo Anthony over the years, Anthony's teams often have come out with the victory. Anthony likely will outscore James -- he has to for the Knicks to have any chance -- but James' overall contributions are as significant as any player in the league. EDGE: HEAT

SHOOTING GUARD: The postseason long has beenDwyane Wade's takeoff point and the Heat will need Wade to be on top of his game, with the Heat's other perimeter star, LeBron James, likely to have his hands full with Carmelo Anthony. But don't sleep on Knicks rookie Iman Shumpert, who has emerged as a quality two-way presence, his defense largely underappreciated. No, he is not in Wade's class, but he also is not the type to be overwhelmed by such challenges.EDGE: HEAT

POINT GUARD: Rare is the matchup where the Heat can even be considered to have any type of advantage at point guard, but rare is the opponent that offers up little more than the players who used to be Baron Davis and Mike Bibby, as well as the wonderfully erraticToney Douglas. If Mario Chalmers makes shots, doesn't make mistakes, and defends the position, he could give the Heat an unexpected edge. The injury absence of Jeremy Lin is a significant setback for the Knicks. EDGE: EVEN

BENCH: This essentially is an area of desperation for both teams, who are fortunate that depth tends to be minimized, with ample off-day recovery time available in this scheduling. The 3-point shooting of J.R. SmithandSteve Novak presents the Knicks with a game-changing element in reserve, while the Heat are seeking little more than steadiness off the bench from Mike MillerShane Battier and Joel Anthony. Either team will be in trouble if they have to go too deep into their bench. Smith could be the series' swing factor. EDGE: KNICKS

COACHING: It is a fascinating matchup in the aspect that each, even in making the playoffs, to a degree is coaching for his job. For the Heat's Erik Spoelstra, anything less than another trip to the NBA Finals could spell doom. By contrast, Mike Woodson is trying to prove to the Knicks there is no reason to pursue a higher-profile replacement in the offseason, such as Phil Jackson. Woodson beat Spoelstra in the 2009 first round with the Hawks, but Spoelstra has grown since then. EDGE: HEAT

INTANGIBLES: The homecourt edge for the Heat cannot be understated, neither can the desire to make amends for the 2011 NBA Finals that burns within LeBron James. In many ways, this postseason could define James' NBA legacy. Similarly, Dwyane Wade plays his best in moments such as these. And the respect the Knicks deserve only figures to heighten the Heat's intensity. Of course, lingering ailments for Chris Bosh (hamstring), Wade (finger), Amare Stoudemire (back) and Baron Davis (back) also will be factors. EDGE: HEAT

PREDICTION: This is a heck of an opening-round matchup, as good as anything the NBA is offering the next two weeks. If the Knicks start loading up on 3-pointers against the sometimes-over-rotating Heat defense there could be trouble ahead. Carmelo Anthony will get his points for the Knicks, but who else? And do the Knicks have enough defense to consistently hold down LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Buckle up, it's going to be a heck of a ride. PICK: Heat in six.

A quick, cursory rundown on the eve of the series…

C Chris Bosh: Focused, forceful play more reminiscent of what he provided in the Eastern Conference Finals than what he offered for stretches of this season.

PF Udonis Haslem: He’s recently found some shooting rhythm. More significant? How he handles the taller Amare Stoudemire, on the block and the boards.

SF LeBron James: Miami’s fine so long as the guy who shows up is the relentless two-way force of the past four months, rather than the ghost from last postseason’s last three games. No reason to worry.

SG Dwyane Wade: Can he make a quick adjustment to his latest impediment, a sore left index finger? Will he take control of the offense when required, and channel his anger when the officials test him?

PG Mario Chalmers: Everyone knows he’s fearless. But will he be poised? If he’s not, too much of the ball-handling burden will fall on Wade and James.

SF Mike Miller: Just don’t break. Every game, it seems, he injures something. And his absence would hurt the Heat, because his rebounding and playmaking allow Erik Spoelstra to play unconventional lineups.

SG Shane Battier: He must make it more difficult on Carmelo Anthony than he did in the teams’ last meeting. It would also help the stars if he sticks some corner threes.

PF/C Joel Anthony: He’s been better since put back in his comfortable bench role. In addition to screen-setting and shot-blocking, he must help keep Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler off the glass.

Others: Up front, Dexter Pittman’s physicality could be useful in short stints and Spoelstra could turn to Rony Turiaf if he requires frontcourt energy. James Jones will get a shot to spread the floor. Norris Cole? Only if Chalmers really struggles.

I am not sure how you think Bosh will occupy Chandler much better then Joel. Id give a small edge to Chandler as Bosh is pretty invisible on the offensive end when Wade and LBJ are playing.

Stop copy and pasting other people's hard work.  Jesus Christ.  At least give credit where credit is due.  What you just did is called plagiarism.
