A pretty cool interview from an early 1970s with Jimi on person Cavett show. Gutcheck, if you haven't seen this, thought you'd like it.

Once again, I continually wonder what he would have done artistically if he lived to even 40 instead of 27. Hendrix was one interesting and amazingly cool man.

Hey dennis, Thanks for posting, but yes I have seen it. If you really want to see something really amazing, go to Best Buy and buy Hendrix at Woodstock, uncut version. Pay close to attention to his hands and how he uses them.

Here is who I am currently getting into. The guy is really good.

Thanks Gutcheck.

I will pick that up this week. Sounds like a great tip.

I completely get, in a more aware sense the points that you were trying to make to me a few months ago that at the time, I was having trouble grasping. I was having a Jimmy Page brain cramp. LOL

I've really become a little more knowledgeable.....at least more aware of the complex nature of what we were talking about , and I have no problem admitting that I was wrong, and in a little over my head in discussing actual playing of the guitar on that level and the complexity involved compared to most other instruments (if not all other ones). I've been really trying to get into becoming more in tune with different eras and the guys on the higher echelons of guitar. I've even spent some time with looking into Robert Johnson. I've downloaded a lot of Jeff Buckley and read as much as I could find about the guy. Very well thought of by his contemporaries.

Haven't listened to all of what I downloaded yet, but I love what I've heard so far.

Thanks again Gut........

I'll check out Joe B. in a moment. Just walked in the door from spending time with my Pop.

Gut, I can't recall where I read this, but I scribbled it down to remember anyway. J.Buckley has a DVD out called  "Grace Around The World".

You know anything about it?
