First of all 1970,71,72 & 73 are in my opinion the greatest years for album releases ( 1971 being my personal fave). I could probably name 50 or great releases from those years that are well worth buying.
But quickly I will name a few that you might not know about. Buy them anyway.
  Kinks " Muswell Hillbillys 1971
  Brian Auger's Oblivion Express  " 2nd Wind" 1972
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band "Will The Circle Be Unbroken " 1972
  Freddie Hubbard " Red Clay " 1970 ( Jazz)
Hawkwind " In Search Of Space " 1971
Grand Funk Railroad " Survival "1971
The London Howlin' Wolf Sessions 1971 W/Claptn,Wyman,Watts
   Cactus  " Restrictions "  1971

If the tape doesn't have John Lennon, well my sorrows are w/ you

It could be, Imagine, or God, hell stand by me (cover) or even Jealous Guy, but John has to be a solid fixture as well as any/all Pink Floyd Dark Side

Does anybody remember the group from the 70's, Sparks. They seemed like a total gimmick. I used to laugh when watching them perform. Thought theyd be gone after a year. Check this concert song they did in.........2000!!! Pretty amazing, huh?
