Yeah, hittin' the clubs and groping behind on the DF is a nerdy thing to do.

Get off your lazy behind, hit a club, and tell me that song sucks after you hear it and girls are sluttin it up on the floor.  Having a hard time finding a problem with dat.

Don't start a thread, opening up discussion if you dont want someone disagreeing with you, fool.

" Off the charts dope "? Are you for real? You have got to be shitting me. A song that mentions a " cardigan " and a turnin' " tummy " is nowhere close to being dope.

Only a dope would like this song let alone think that it is off the charts.

P.S Did she really raise her arms in the air and start moving her hips in a taxi when she heard a Jay Z song?

I hopped off the plane at LAX
with a dream and my cardigan
welcome to the land of fame excess, (woah)
am I gonna fit in?

Jumped in the cab,
Here I am for the first time
Look to the right and I see the Hollywood sign
This is all so crazy
Everybody seems so famous

My tummys turnin and I'm feelin kinda home sick
Too much pressure and I'm nervous,
That's when the taxi man turned on the radio
and a Jay Z song was on
and the Jay Z song was on
and the Jay Z song was on

CHORUS:
So I put my hands up
They're playing my song,
And the butterflys fly away
Noddin' my head like yeah
Moving my hips like yeah,
And I got my hands up,
They're playin my song
I know I'm gonna be ok
Yeah, It's a party in the USA
Yeah, It's a party in the USA

Get to the club in my taxi cab
Everybody's lookin at me now
Like "who's that chick, thats rockin' kicks?
She gotta be from out of town"

So hard with my girls not around me
Its definitely not a Nashville party
Cause' all I see are stilletos
I guess I never got the memo

My tummys turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda home sick
Too much pressure and I'm nervous
That's when the D.J. dropped my favorite tune
and a Britney song was on
and the Britney song was on
and the Britney song was on

CHORUS:
So I put my hands up
They're playing my song,
And the butterflys fly away
Noddin' my head like yeah
Moving my hips like yeah,
And I got my hands up,
They're playin my song
I know I'm gonna be ok
Yeah, It's a party in the USA
Yeah, It's a party in the USA

Feel like hoppin' on a flight (on a flight)
Back to my hometown tonight (town tonight)
Something stops me everytime (everytime)
The DJ plays my song and I feel alright!

CHORUS:
So I put my hands up
They're playing my song,
And the butterflys fly away
Noddin' my head like yeah (Oh, nodding my head)
Moving my hips like yeah, (Ooh Yeah)
And I got my hands up,
They're playin' my song
I know I'm gonna be ok (gonna be okay)
Yeah (huh huh), It's a party in the USA (Yeah)
Yeah, It's a party in the USA

So I put my hands up
They're playing my song,
And the butterflys fly away (flying away)
Noddin' my head like yeah (nodding my head like yeah)
Moving my hips like yeah, (moving my hips like yeah)
And I got my hands up,
They're playin' my song
I know I'm gonna be ok (I'm gonna be okay)
Yeah (Yeah), It's a party in the USA
Yeah (hahaha), It's a party in the USA (Party in the USA!)

I don't even think that Billy Ray Cyrus would think anything that Miley has done is " off the charts dope ". That is a sentence that I never thought would be uttered. Not by a 15 year old girl, and most definitely not by a guy in a gambling forum.

She's a performer.....not a musician that's why.

Taylor Swift can't sing, Justin Bieber can't sing.

Not being able to sing is almost a prerequisite now.

Yeah.......it's a damn shame what passes for talent anymore. I venture onto Youtube to check out a new band that's supposed to be good, get disappointed, & read all the kids posting garbage like, "THEY'RE THE GREATEST......BEST SONG EVER WRITTEN!!" .........I suppose the 80's had it's share of weak acts & 1-hit wonders, but at least some of it is still valid to this day.

.......& what "club" would play a miley cyrus tune? Mouskateer club?

No doubt..........I stumbled across a show called "crossroads" (VH1, MTV.....one of those channels) & they had Def Leppard on with taylor swift singing "photograph"..........she's teriible............& they endorsed it, like they thought this was a good idea. I lost whatever respect I had left for Def leppard right there...........

For what it's worth...Simon Cowell must find something in her. He chose her to be an instructor this season on American Idol and on X-Factor (his "American Idol" of the UK) he chose "The Climb" as the Final Song for the Final 2 and the winner would have that song as their main song in their their new CD.

Taylor Swift is overrated. But I'd choose her over Bieber any day.

But Miley is just a product of Disney. It's been done many times before. Look at the Jonas Brothers. They put out CDs before Disney and they sucked and didn't sell. They go on to Disney and they are world wide sensations to teenage girls. It's quite remarkable actually. Miley did have to try out to be "Hannah Montana". Sure her father being who he is helped...but if she had no talent at all...it's not like they could just choose her. Disney has a great eye for talent. Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are 2 other's that have made singles after being on shows/movies on Disney and they're huge hits among the kids too. Disney just knows where to find these people.

And not just an "eye for talent", but they even make people with less talent popular to the young people. Simply put...they produce STARS.

Who cares if teeny boppers dance like person to the song, it still lacks anything resembling musical talent.  If you aren't in elementary school how the darn can you say that is off the charts dope? I seriously hope that is not a picture of you in your avatar? You look like a 15year old vanilla ice.

I try not to look at his avatar. I am still trying to work out whether it is an actual photo of him, or the love child of Kevin Federline and Vanilla Ice.

C'mon Train. She is as talented as any above average 10th grade girl. She is more commercial than talent.

Bieber started through youtube? Meaning he sung well before any of the industry got a hold of him... Much like this kid.
