#1 Posted: 3/14/2010 10:34:10 PM They've started playing stuff off their new album (Congratulations) at shows and have released a new song for free download which will not be featured on the new album. I guess it didnt make the cut, but its worth a listen to see where they might be going with Congratulations
I dont really like it, but most MGMT takes time to grow on me |

#3 Posted: 3/14/2010 10:54:33 PM I understand why it's free. I like a couple of their tunes, but that one is a lemon. Thanks for sharing though. |

#13 Posted: 3/26/2010 4:32:31 AM The new MGMT stuff blows hard. It's some of the worst crap I've ever heard.
I really liked Kids and the other stuff off that album (name escapes me now) but this new crap is pathetic.

#17 Posted: 5/27/2010 4:32:16 PM i bought their new album while in Europe a few weeks ago mainly because Sonic Boom produced it. I listened to it once and left it at my cousins house. Nothing really grabbed me. Blah

#18 Posted: 5/28/2010 9:56:53 AM Hop:
My kids got me to take them up to the show. Didn't know anything about them but listened to their music on the way up to LR.
Glad I went. Does have the post-goth feel to it for sure. |
