They've started playing stuff off their new album (Congratulations) at shows and have released a new song for free download which will not be featured on the new album. I guess it didnt make the cut, but its worth a listen to see where they might be going with Congratulations

I dont really like it, but most MGMT takes time to grow on me

I understand why it's free.  I like a couple of their tunes, but that one is a lemon.  Thanks for sharing though.

kids is a dope track but it took a while to grow on me. and I think I have about 8 remixes or mashups of the tune on my ipod. Like these:

The new MGMT stuff blows hard.  It's some of the worst crap I've ever heard.

I really liked Kids and the other stuff off that album (name escapes me now) but this new crap is pathetic.

i bought their new album while in Europe a few weeks ago mainly because Sonic Boom produced it. I listened to it once and left it at my cousins house. Nothing really grabbed me.  Blah

Hop:

My kids got me to take them up to the show.  Didn't know anything about them but listened to their music on the way up to LR.

Glad I went.  Does have the post-goth feel to it for sure.
