#7 Posted: 3/4/2010 8:22:30 AM UFO was great. They were a Chicago favorite. I must have seen them about 4 or 5 times.
Don't forget Zebra, they may have been the early 80's. I think they made one album, but it was really good.

#12 Posted: 3/5/2010 12:36:34 AM More the late 60's, but does anybody recall the 13th Floor Elevators ("Your Gonna Miss Me") or Fever Tree ("San Francisco Girls")? Two of the earlier psychodelic bands from the Austin/Houston area. Elevators were better with Roky Erickson & ZZ Topper, Billy Gibbons but both were pretty hot at the time - |

as mentioned by CASHIN......if you don't know....that Roky Erickson is one of the greatest characters (and tragedies) in music....in a resounding answer to question.....are we really free?.....(in USA) all the dude wanted to do is make music and do drugs ....hurting anybody ?.....response ?....put him in mental hospital....subject him to continued friggin ELECTROSHOCK "therapy"....made to to American Bandstand....when ask by person Clark who was the "head" of the group.....Roky replied..."uh....man we're all heads"......anybody see this garbage ?....
from the files.....you can never get enough electric jug....wtf......Tommy Hall on the jug
