This thread is going to be an ongoing thread going from my earliest listening years to my recent listening years. It will probably be very long and take a while to complete. I've got nothing better to do sometimes.

I don't think I enjoyed Anne Murray but here she is.
I'm not sure I enjoyed most of these selections, they were forced on me, actually.

It's a wonder I didn't grow up being a little bit soft.

No mam'ry, Madam Oprama, These were heard whilst during car rides and on the beat up hi-fi stereo at home.  At the time I wasn't old enough to think of such parties, never mind host them. Hope you enjoyed. There's more to come.

One of my favorite songs in my elementary school days.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfdgdHqjoSs

It wasn't until years later when I noticed Debbie Harry was a hottie. She was nice in Kronenberg's adaptation of "Naked Lunch." I think that was her in there.

Hopefully, the next phase was a little more....ahhhem,... edgy.  There were some rockin' bands in the 70's, not just John Denver and The Carpenters and unicorns and rainbows.

From '76 but didn't know of him until the eighties.

Just a few years from '82 I discovered WWF. Or maybe it was around this time. Lou Albano made it into another one of her videos.

Dude, I was a little kid. I didn't have my boom-box until '83 or so. I'm building up to that point. Just wait.

Wrote a sixth grade report on these guys and Beethoven simply because they had similar "middle" names.

I could only hear these guys at friends' houses on the MTV.

In the early eighties, rock just wasn't my thing. I gravitated to hip-hop and these guys were a staple in my tape collection.

Roxanne was probably there biggest hit but this song always pumped up me and my breakdancing group. I wish I could remember the name we gave ourselves.

These guys are probably my favorite of alllllll time, at least concerning pre-teen glory days, that is. First album purchase.

Notice the blending of heavy-metal and rap way back in '85.

This just about sums up what I was all about from '82-'86.
Would request this song on the local college radio station until I taped it.

This version is much faster than the original.
