Well after this game, I might be a very happy person as I still have the Sparks to win the league at +1600 which I grabbed very early on when the futures first came out. They have 2 games to do it.. Will wait for the outcome of Game #4 before I hedge that bet if needed.
Game #3 was a terrible performance by the Lynx from start to finish. The game was almost over after 1Q. Watched some of the interviews with the Sparks players and a lot of them said that their biggest issue in Game #2 was rebounding, and they wanted to do better especially offensive rebound. Well they did, they had 6 in the 1Q which helped them open that big lead. Do we see the same again tonight? Not sure. The energy they brought in that game was exactly what they needed. But you are playing the Lynx, with so many stacked players in that team. This game has a recipe for a close, every shot means something, tight game until the final whistle. Lynx off a double digit loss on revenge are 16-2 S/U and 6-12 to the under since 2011. They don't take a big loss too lightly.
All the pressure is on the Sparks in this game to close out and win the league. We all know Parker doesn't handle pressure to well. Nneka does but how does Beard, Toliver and Carson handle pressure? We shall see. Waiting a bit longer before making a final decision.

I find it really hard to believe that Minny has not scored more than 75 points in LA since 18th June 2014. That is just nuts especially for a team that has averaged over 84 points per season for a very long time. The Sparks have kept the Lynx to 79 points or less in 6 straight games (both in Minny and LA). I think the Lynx get over this total and hit around 85 IMHO. They have too many weapons to be kept to below 80 points for a 4th straight time in playoff games vs the Sparks.

minn looks out of wack trying to expose the augustus vs tolliver matchup. its playing into la's hands almost by design. its taking the ball out of maya.

last time any of the 2 were together Gul/Walker the ref'd the 108-98 Chi-Atl elimination game 2 weeks ago... I think Minny is destined to get 2-1 FT and so far it looks true

WOW!!! That was extremely close with the TT over but will take it.
Wagers, great call mate on the Lynx.. Looks like we are heading for Game #5 in Minny.. I will certainly look to hedge my bet now as we head into the last game. What a great series, glad we are seeing it go all the way.

Nice call straightwagers. Any lean for all the marbles?
Buddy, you would have to think the momentum has now swung in favor of the Lynx after that disappointing loss for the Sparks in this game. One thing is for sure, give me Maya Moore in any game over Parker when they are needed in big games. But they do have Nneka who is a beast. I think this next game goes down to the wire and it depends on which team can be clutch in the final 1-2 mins of the game.
