Hey fellas, doing the usual, opening up shop for the day.
2 good games on today, it's getting tougher to decide which way to go. At first glance I like the Wizards ATS but now I am having second thoughts because this is one of the smallest lines given to a team playing the Pacers in Indy. Even the Heat were given 3 dying regular season. As for the other game, I think OKC starts strong like they did against Grizzliea first game. We decide shortly. BOL today fellas.

I am having second thoughts about my "square" leans: the Wiz had a long break and they might come out rusty. Vogel will stick with his usual lineup unless he is forced to go small, and his usual lineup with Hibbert and Hill struggles to score. So the over and Wiz ATS in that game is a bit iffy. Ditto for the 2nd game: all will depend on how focused the Clips will be and how banged up CP3 is. Still, I will probably stick with my original leans, I am just not going to go big today. Maybe live or HT lines will be interesting.

Sup gang I played over 90 1H and over 184 Wiz/Pacers last night give me the early East conf overs, just think that Pacers will be a bit more in rhythm and will push the pace against Wiz who've been off a few days AND I think Wiz will push late to try and wear down Pacers who went 7 games...either way I'd be surprised if this turns into a defensive grinder this early in the series, there definitely is a 91-73 in this series I just hope it ain't tonight, prolly in game 4 when Wiz are up 2-1

You just cannot make that stuff up. I put 0.3u on the draw@+480 on a whim and I stopped checking the score at 0-3. Just checked my account and I saw a strange a increase in my balance, what a surprise. I wonder what the live line was ? Like +100000 ?

It would have been massive Ax. What a crazy comeback. 3-0 with about 12 minutes to go and CP come back to draw. Nice hit buddy. Liverpool only have themselves to blame for blowing their title chances. Now Man City are in the driving seat.
Clippers @ Thunder: Clippers +5.5
So both these teams are coming off game 7's. Clippers are coming off an emotional win and the Thunder are coming off an 11 point win against a Grizzlies team that had no Randolph, Conley was banged up and they had other personnel issues. RW was on fire going something like 29 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists or something like that. I don't think he replicates that today in the 1st game. Another thing that amazes me is that the opening line for the 1st game of Grizzlies @ Thunder was -7.5. So Vegas is telling us that the Clippers are only 2 points better than the Grizzlies even though the Grizzlies finished 7th and Clippers 3rd? I think OKC win this game at home but I think it will be tight. I don't see RW going crazy tonight because he never really backs up a great performance with another great performance. I think OKC wins this by 3 so I will take the points with the Clippers.

Tim Donaghy's podcast is good. I definitely believe that the series are made to go longer because its revenue raising for the NBA. No one wanted to watch Bobcats vs Heat so that was done in 4 but I think Nets vs Heat will go game 7 for sure.

I don't think I am going to touch anymore games with Joey Crawford in them.. I always see him in the game but didn't know who he was but he definitely is Mr Controversy.

Pretty funny to see Hibbert glaring at George from the bench, when George shooting FTs. I guess there is some truth to the rumors surrounding those two.

I would not read too much into Donaghy's statements, he is after all a convicted felon. But I think he is telling mostly the truth. There are indeed make up calls and stars do get a preferential treatment, but ultimately if a team cannot play good bball that team loses. I dunno if BKN can stretch Miami to 7 games, not the way they executed against Toronto.
As for Crawford, I am still upset at him for "fixing" the first Miami-Dallas finals. There is also no real incentive for the NBA refs to keep getting better. They are well protected by the league, and there is no competition for their jobs. They are kinda like government bureaucrats.

I think they can manage to score 22 points per quarter to wrap this game up. No way do they slow the tempo down. They started the 2Q slow but still managed to hit 28

Enjoy the margaritas Wagers... Have one for me buddy.
Tomorrow's game, I really like Heat ATS because they are well rested, Wade has had time to get fit again and the Nets didn't handle the Raptors very well like Ax said. I also really like Blazers to give the Spurs a run for their money. Thats another funny line as well because the Mavs were given +6.5 as well and they were 8th seed and the Blazers 5th seed.

I was kinda thinking along the same lines, Aussie. As for Blazers vs Dallas: Dallas had a lot more experience, including super Dirk, and they had a proven coach; Blazers on the other hand are still not a proven playoff team.
