#4 Posted: 7/31/2012 11:33:36 PM Hi Dimes, do you see any major differences in capping women's baskets, or do you go through the same procedure as with men's to pick a game? Thanks.... |

Same way, but over the long run I've had greater success capping Woman's basketball and International tournaments both Mens and Woman's . Unlike the Nba I feel there is more margin for error when the oddsmakers post the spreads.

Good work, This is what I call good handicapping. Keeping track of short term repetitive trends.

I'd hate to be laying points in this game. Canada does a pretty good job defending the perimeter but their a little vulnerable in the paint. They don't have great shooters on offense and every trip down is a set play. They often use the entire shoot clock that's why their totals are usually in the low 120's. They've played like this for the last several years.
SORRY NO LEAN------
This probably sounds stupid----If Canada makes their treys they'll stay within the number.

#12 Posted: 8/1/2012 2:46:46 AM No love for Australia -14? Do you think the 137 total is inflated because of the OT last game pushed the total OVER 131. I just don't see Brazil holding the Aussies under 80 points. I conjured up an 81-64 final score |

I was surprised France went to the free throw line 28 times last game. The Aussies have a huge front court line. AUS 77 BRA 65 is what I came up with.

#20 Posted: 8/1/2012 10:40:17 AM You dont like the Russia-GB over 128,looking at pass scores it looks close to where it should be,but I think it gets to 130s, got -8 on your next game. USA total 144.5 now, Any thoughts on Russia over 128?

Yeah I'd go Over in the Russia game as well. I made my total 130.5. I'm a little surprised with the Usa total dropping. I really like this Over a lot.
