#26 Posted: 8/17/2011 11:19:57 AM There is no way LA is bouncing Seattle out of the playoffs even though I would love it to happen!
IF LJ is back, which it looks like she will be, I would assume they are no more than 3.5 pt dogs if a game 1 is in Phoenix. I just hope SA keeps winning! Those texas girls don't scare me in the playoffs!!!

#28 Posted: 8/17/2011 3:43:56 PM The thought of LJ returning scares the crap out of me and almost makes me want to lay money on Seattle..
Today 8/17 odds:
Minny +225
Indiana +300
CT +550
Seattle +600 (GREAT VALUE IMO)
Phoenix +800
and the rest.... (Atl still all the way up at +2400)
Actually think ATL has even more value right now at +2400 after their last 2 big wins.... They are 1.5 games ahead of Chicago right now and I can't see the Dream giving that up.
Muggsy, I know you loved Atlanta earlier, but what do you think about Seattle at +600? Only bet I have right now is Phoenix at +800

#29 Posted: 8/17/2011 3:47:09 PM Forgot to note that Atlanta still has 3 games against CT and against Indy for 6 of their remaining 10.... Then washington 2x, Tulsa and Chicago
Chicago has Wash 2x, NY 2x, Indy, Atl, and a BRUTAL 3 game swing out west to end the season... 3 games in 4 days

#30 Posted: 8/17/2011 7:27:35 PM I am willing to bet $1 to win $250 for Atlanta to win all 6 games against the East leaders. Three vs Connecticut (2 home 1 away) and three vs Indiana (1 home 2 away)
In an average game Atlanta will be ~3 pt underdog (close to evens at home, and 6-7 pt underdog away)
Any takers?

#32 Posted: 8/20/2011 2:26:21 PM ATL still at +2500. Pondering throwing 50 on them now |

#33 Posted: 8/20/2011 2:30:05 PM WOW.
Phoenix back down to +450 and Seattle up to +1000.
With LJ returning why shouldn't I put some cash on the Storm? |

#34 Posted: 8/20/2011 2:34:06 PM They roll today, I'm not sure why they would be +1000.

#35 Posted: 8/20/2011 2:36:13 PM Unless of course the bookies think there's a decent chance they dont make playoffs, and if they do, there's little chance they win even one series without HC

#38 Posted: 8/20/2011 5:37:38 PM Can't figure out if betting the Storm +1000 is worth it since it appears we may have a Phoenix/Seattle 1st round. Don't really want both my futures bets squaring off at the start. May just hedge the Phoenix bet w/ Storm series bet??
Any thoughts?

#41 Posted: 8/21/2011 1:41:46 PM Seattle down to +950. I still think there is a decent amount of value but not going to bet it since i don't want my two futures bets going H2h in rd 1

#44 Posted: 8/21/2011 3:13:06 PM Man, Washington really should have buried Chicago last night.
Fortunately, we've just seen the first round preview and Phoenix looked solid.

#45 Posted: 8/21/2011 3:17:09 PM Muggsy,
First round is going to be Seattle @ Phoenix. Silverstars are not going to beat out the Storm

#46 Posted: 8/21/2011 9:11:23 PM Absolutely huge game on Tuesday with Atlanta @ Chicago. A Dreaaaaammmm win practically seals up the playoff spot but a loss makes us have to sweat the final 3 weeks

#47 Posted: 8/21/2011 9:20:34 PM A win today would set them up for an attack on 2-3rd seeds. Huge first quater, but owned otherwise

#48 Posted: 8/21/2011 9:25:15 PM 30 point win for Indiana. Not bad for a team who could be had at +1600 to win it all just 5 weeks ago
