10 days away guys.  Let's get some thoughts out there.

I like Browne, Varner and Davis.  I wish some more numbers would come out.  I am sure we'll wait until next Wednesday.

Should be a good card
I'm a little surprised Browne is at -300, based in how good rothwell has been if late. Browned awesome tho.
Varner JLau will be awesome. Not sure how the line will come out. JLau slight fav?

I read that Mitrione was asked to fill in for Rothwell.  However, he declined.  I wish someone would step up and fight.  You would think someone needs a paycheck.  I am sure Zuffa would make it a hefty one since the fight is nine days out.

I think the Varner, Lauzon line will be real close.  It should be entertaining and high paced.  Varner was on fire against Barboza.  We will see how Lauzon reacts.

Is Phil Davis going to take care of business like he should?  I wouldn't think this is a motivating opportunity.  His wrestling will prevail though.

Louzon is so hit/miss, hard to handicap him , I'm not sold on Davis ( but he'll win this fight imo)!

I didn't like Davis lack luster performance against Evans.

Davis is going against an undefeated fighter that is a +450 underdog. I think there's value here.

put a small parlay with varner in it, if j lau cant finish in the 1st this is varners fight. rua and machida are solids.  cant touch davis against an undefeated prospect coming out of nogueiras camp. anyone know where to get a line on swick vs johnson?

Bader can win. Im not layin that kind of juice on someone as passive as machida against a strong wrestler with a chin

bader was put on person street by pillow-punching tito ortiz. dont put too much credence into the rampage win(i bet bader after the weigh-in). this is the rampage that ryan beat.

if prado has any td defense i think he is a much better dog. if he cant take prado down he cant win this fight.

You're right Qncyk, I meant more due to the fact that he has never been stopped by strikes. That short little shovel punch from Tito rocking Bader does raise questions.
Gotta watch prados fights still, but davis' stand up is horrible.

youtube prados highlight reel. guy has power in both hands and great kicks. my book doesnt open lines until thursday and i like prado in this spot especially with nog in his corner.

if phil cant get this to the ground i cant see him winning a three round fight.

Already checked it. Problem is he was fighting (what looked like) bums. All local brazilians, which I'm assuming have nowhere near the takedown abililty of someone with davis' strength & wrestling pedigree. We wont know until that fight how good Prados TDD is. Small play for me.

Even though Machida has faught a few strong wrestlers (Rashad probably being the toughest), no one's really put on the heat for some nice up against the cage dirty boxing/grinding, I think Bader is smarter than most fighters and realizes where he might have an advantage

Rampage tried this strategy and Machida reversed him and pushed off multiple times, fairly easily.  Very hard guy to hold down.

Bader's going off about how he's "game planning" now, you gotta think his strategy is going to be trying to clinch Machida to death against the cage, but I doubt he'll be able to.

I'm not a big Machida fan, but you have to think his speed will be too much for Bader. For Bader to win, he will have to get his nose dirty and risk being KO'd to do that. I hope Bader rises to the challenge and gets a KO himself. But more than likely, Machida by UD.

I see Rua winning in a similar fashion. One thing I've noticed about Vera is he doesn't "go for it". He tends to sit back, almost content with losing (prob not the case but sometimes it appears so)

If Varner ambushes JLau like he did to Barboza, I like his chances of getting a KO/TKO

If Vera wins, it will be due to a Fluke of Epic Proportions.

I don't think Machida can finish Bader.  I see a decision here.  It is only three rounds.  I think Machida will be countering like he usually does.  Bader will last fifteen minutes here.  I don't mind who wins.  I want Bader though.

I agree with you , over 2.5 rounds sounds like a lucrative wager depending on the odds

Agree x 234234235238345123, although the line is moving in his favor somehow...
