#3 Posted: 7/15/2012 1:27:58 PM Good to see you starting these early threads again. Haven't looked at it too closely. So many changes it's hard to even keep track. Overall a pretty weak card but there are also some good tilts. I am surprised that barao opened as a fav. And also that barao continues to get bet and the line is now -200. I like this better than Faber Cruz. Excited to see barao on the big stage and how aggressive he'll be. I have to think though that Faber at a real good number is a good bet. He's been competitive with the best in the world.
Really looking forward to boetch Lombard. Haven't seen much of Lombard. How will he rank against the best is still a ? IMO
Ebersole will be a big #, but worth it whatever it will be |

#8 Posted: 7/15/2012 7:01:59 PM I like Caraway, Pineda and Lombard. I haven't delved deep yet. It could be a surprisingly good card. |

#9 Posted: 7/15/2012 7:15:58 PM Yr right, nick. Lack of big names usually means exciting, lots if finishes, fighters "goin for it". So many decisions lately. I wanna see some finishes!!! |

#10 Posted: 7/15/2012 7:30:37 PM I think Jordan and Kongo should be a short fight. Jordan is aggressive. Pineda is exciting too. I can't believe Ebersole is fighting when he got dropped less than a month ago. |

He got dropped, but he still won the fight...

#13 Posted: 7/16/2012 6:52:49 PM Mitch Clarke vs. Anton Kuivanen======================= for mitchy to win, he'll need to take down AK and just control him with his decent top game. ak will need to keep it from getting to the mat with his shaky tdd. look for ak to try to control MC with his so-so technical striking ability.
i love the over 2.5rds i like AK by dec. |

Not sure.
But I know Kongo is still very overrated. He used to be more overrated but he still is.
I would have though Kongo would be the favorite though. But with such an odd opener to where it settled I will stay away. But then again I stay away from most HW fights, especially average talents slugging it out with 4oz gloves.

#15 Posted: 7/17/2012 3:37:28 PM ebersole at -360 to 80 was not as bad as i was expecting
i was leanin ring, and i thought he'd be a dog, but is -140ish. He has fought some good fights lately, even in defeat
i read this funny twitter comment during the strikeforce event i keep chuckling about: "jardine is bleeding from everywhere but the soles of his feet"... |

#16 Posted: 7/17/2012 7:17:39 PM Antonio Carvalho vs. Daniel Pineda=========================
two tough mofo's. their striking game is about even, dan having more power, while AC being the more technical. both got legit jitz skillzzzzz so i dont expect a sub finish. AC is in the twilight of his career imo i expect pineda to control the majority of the match with his versatile striking game..uppercut, leg kick, shoryuken FTW
i love the over 2.5 rds i like daniel pineda via dec. |

#17 Posted: 7/17/2012 9:09:28 PM Bryan Caraway vs Mitch Gagnon========================== your classic 2 bad strikers that only grapple match. i'll give the slight striking edge to mitch. mitch definitley has the strength advantage in this bout, im guessing it will not be needed as bryan will have top control the entire time exposing gagnon's guard.
i like caraway by sub or dec. i like over 2.5 rds. |

#18 Posted: 7/18/2012 10:45:16 AM anthony perosh vs ryan jimmo========================== karate vs jitz old guy vs overhyped
for jimmo to win he'll need to outpoint perosh in the stand up battle. perosh will look to close the distance and work for a TD from the clinch. if perosh gets to the clinch he WILL take jimmo down. jimmo has karate pillow hands and can only win by decision. real tough match to cap.
i like perosh by dec or sub i like over 2.5 rds

#19 Posted: 7/18/2012 5:20:00 PM Roland Delorme vs Francisco Rivera ============================== another tough one to cap as the odds agree. striker vs grapple..cisco wins by defending blasting roland's head with his sweet boxing ability. cisco is like a mini-costa philli. roland is a beast when it comes to grappling. if he can get cisco to the ground rivera will be dunzo.
i like cisco by ko. i like the under 2.5 rds

#24 Posted: 7/18/2012 7:50:19 PM Curious as to why you think Delorme's chin is shot? I would argu the contrary. He is only 28, he took some big shots from Nick Denis and came back to get the win and his only loss is a split decision.
