YTD Record:
Overall: 78-89-1, -42.20 Units ,,
UFC: 59-61-1, -34.10 Units ,,
Strikeforce: 7-7, -1.80 Units ,
Bellator: 12-21, -6.30 Units ,
Final 2011 Record: 148-132-3, +123.55 Units
Final 2010 Record: 115-119-3, +11.25 Units
Final 2009 Record: 80-82-1, +23.75 Units

Everytime I start a new thread and revisit my YTD record, I am not sure whether to laugh or cry...

There is way too much MMA this weekend from a capping standpoint.  As a result, I think I am going to take a pass on Bellator...

I have locked in on 3 plays so far:

1.  Joey Gambino (-127) over Steven Siler.  Risking 7.6 units to win 6 units.  Siler looked absolutely awful at the weigh-ins.  Looks like he had really rough weight cut.  Siler started to gas really badly in the 3rd round against Cole Miller, which is not a good sign here for Siler backers.  Unlike the Cole Miller fight, Gambino has the wrestling to plant Siler on his back and keep him there.  Gambino has some serious power as well, so I am not too concerned if this one stays standing.  I am not sure how Siler can win this fight.  My only concern is how Gambino handles his UFC debut.

2.  Ken Stone (+132) over Dustin Pague.  Risking 2 units to win 2.65 units.

3.  Matt Brown (-155) over Luis Ramos.  Risking 1.55 units to win 1 unit.

I will likely have more plays tomorrow.  Still waiting for lines on the round totals.

BOL to everyone with your plays!!!

He sure did!!!

But I like what I have seen from Stone.  He has fought much tougher competition, and is better than Pague at all facets of the MMA game IMO.  Pagues'  fighter IQ is also very iffy.  Stone comes from a very good camp, which I think is going to be a big difference in how this fight plays out.

I saw a comment somewhere that Siler looked like a kid who should be playing video games in his mom's basement

Good luck on all the fights!!

Pinny is painfully slow at releasing their round totals and parlay cards today.  I might have some more plays if they get their act together...

The first 2 rounds were very close.  I actually scored it 29-28 for Stone, with Stone taking the 2nd and 3rd rounds.  I would not have been surprised if Pague was awarded the decision, it really was that close...
