Bellator finally gets back into the swing of things on Friday. Here are the plays:
1. Joe Warren - Pat Curran over 3.5 rounds (+133). Risking 2 units to win 2.65 units.
2. Alexandre Bezerra (-212) over Genair da Silva. Risking 4.25 units to win 2 units.
3. Mike Corey (+213) over Ronnie Mann. Risking 2 units to win 4.25 units.
4. Mike Corey - Ronnie Mann over 2.5 rounds (-120). Risking 1.2 units to win 1 unit.
5. Alexandre Bezerra - Genair da Silva under 2.5 rounds (-145). Risking 1.45 units to win 1 unit.
6. Jeremy Spoon  (+175) over Daniel Straus. Risking 1 unit to win 1.75 units.
7. Joe Warren (+295) over Pat Curran. Risking 1 unit to win 2.95 units.

None of the books has removed the line for this fight...

He's bigger, stronger and has very solid wrestling...
There are a lot of good sites to find info on fighters. I don't have a lot of time to get into how I cap, but personal fighter websites, youtube'ing fighter names to find footage, etc are just some of the things you can do to learn about fighters... |

Yeah the line is still up like everywhere. It's legit though, the official Bellator twitter (linked directly from their site) broke the news yesterday, Bezerra tweeted about it, and MMAjunkie has reported it now. Sherdog PBP has the new fight listed.
Sucks he only missed weight by 3 pounds but I'm guessing because of the tournament format there's no leeway.

I don't think Curran game plans properly. He had a really bad game plan against Sandro. He was getting destroyed in the standup before he landed the head kick knockout. He should have attempted to take that fight to the ground.
I can't trust him laying signficant juice to the champ. However, if he can keep this one standing, he will have an advantage...
Sean McCorkle should not be laying -1200 against anyone... |
