I keep seeing how Atlanta has this tough schedule, but I'm not buying it. Saints were pretty bad, Bucs were average, Panthers definitely had a down year.
@ Seattle is always a tough out, so I'll give them that. Lost there.
Home vs. KC is another tough game. Lost a tough one, Matty Ice picks were difference.
@ Denver....meh....not a super great win, but solid.
@ Oakland is a good win, considering how well Raiders played all year.
GB at home is decent, but certainly not braggable for a team in the SB.
Home vs Chargers.....big deal (won in OT)
@ Philly...should be a win for an "elite" team...lost.
Cards at home, no big deal.
@ Rams...late in the year too, so nothing tough there
Niners at home....again, late in the year vs. horrible team..easy win
The bottom line is that they were 11-5 vs what I consider a pretty typical schedule. I'm not arguing whether they are good or not, obviously they are. I'm just not buying into this "#2 SOS" or whatever it is. Way more impressed with Pats results as a whole, even if their schedule was "weaker" in terms of who they played.
