Mike Mayock has him as the best QB in the Draft this year.
Anyone follow Bison football this year? Any thoughts?
Teams that might be interested...
Browns, Cowboys, 49ers, Bears, Eagles
Lol Browns...Tim Couch, Colt McCoy, Brandon Weeden and Johnny Football. This team always needs a qb and almost never drafts core players in the 1st rd.

I'd take Goff and Lynch over him. What caused the kid to go from day 3 prospect to arguably the top qb in the draft? If you are looking for developmental guy in the 4-5 rounds he's your guy. If were talking day 1 you're team will be looking for a new coach and gm soon enough.

Mayock's not the only one high on him. Going into the year I can't recall any draft experts putting him even in day 2. It's not like he was unheard of either. He was the mvp of the fcs championship. 6'6 with a good arm. Overall seems like a good kid. Missed 7 games and didn't blow it away at the senior bowl. So what changed that he is now the best qb in the draft? It's such a qb hungry league and draft guru's like to be the first to say I told you so.
I know there have a few good fcs qb's but its still a much bigger transition than coming from a bcs school. There's a reason guys end up at an fcs school instead of playing with the big boys.
For as much arm talent that's come through the draft it's the ability to process that seperates the average joe's from the very good qbs. If at that level the guy sometimes struggles reading coverages whats it going to look like at that next level? For the most part he is good at it but when it doesn't look like it he is expecting it looks real bad.

Agree with Jerry. At the start of the season, I can't remember anyone having him in the first round, let alone top-10. Also the reports of Senior Bowl week weren't that good. He didn't make many mistakes, but also didn't make all good throws. It was more about his height and overall physical ability.
I think there is a small chance that no QB goes within the top-10 or top-15. The DL and OL talent is just too good in this class.
1. TEN: It has to be Laremy Tunsil, can't see anyone else here. You have to give Mariota protection.
2. CLE: Josh McCown has been good behind an elite OL. 12 TD 4 INT, 64%. Mitchell Schwartz is a free agent but the Browns have some cap space. Now with offensive "genius" Hue Jackson I see a lot of potential for this offense if they get a good WR and / or Gordon back. Browns desperately need defensive help, especially on the front seven. I see Joey Bosa here. More valueable than any of these QBs. Maybe draft one in the 2nd or 3rd round and develop him.
3. SD: No QB, gonna be defense or RT. Joe Barksdale was a farce and he is a free agent.
4. DAL: Here it gets interesting. They were a good Romo-backup away from the playoffs with the best OL in the league. Will they bite or rather try to get a shot in the 2nd round? This team needs defensive help (S,FS,OLB,DE, DT) or a stud WR. I would go with Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack (injury?) or even La'quon Treadwell here, rather than with one of these QBs.
5. JAX: CB or DL. Hargreaves to stay in his state?
6. BAL: CB would be great but if Ramsey and Hargreaves were off the board, I would go with one of the four stud tackles.
7. SF: If Kaepernick stays, Chip Kelly got his dual threat QB. SF have holes all over the field.
8. MIA: With no cap space (hey Suh!), it's gonna be hard to keep Olivier Vernon. Would love to see CB, DE or T here. But then there is the LB hole. Free agency will tell.
9. TB: It has to be defense, doesn't it?
10. NYG: Bottom-3 defense in 2015 and released two OL already. Giants need to get pressure on the opposing QBs - DL for me.
11. CHI: Holes everywhere on the D and OL.
12. NO: Holes everywhere on the D, they should go DL here with the best two corners gone. Maybe Mackensie Alexander. Or maybe a linebacker for the weak side. But A'Shawn Robinson brings a glaring need for this DL. Their secondary isn't really that bad with Byrd, Breaux, Lewis and P.J. Williams who was injured all season. But if you give up 4.9 YPC, you don't give your secondary any shots. Look at how good an average Lions secondary looked when Suh and Fairley were closing the interior. DT is the best fit.
13. PHI: Another QB-thirsty team if they don't extend Sam Bradford. But Jason Peters is 34 and they had some real OL issues. Grabbing a future RT while Lane Johnson moves to LT could be an option.
14. Raiders: SECONDARY or tackle. Donald Penn is a free agent and already 32. OL is so important for Derek Carr.
15. LA: Difficult here. 7 defensive starters from the end of the season become free agents. They need a franchise QB, a franchise WR. They have 37M in cap space right now. Get rid of Foles and it's 45M. Very interesting off-season. Maybe trade up from the second round pick to take a QB.
