Jets at O/U 6.5 which is the exact same number as last year except last year with Geno as a rookie, the juice was -165!
Giants O/U 7!
I've watched the Giants my entire life and you gotta go back at least a decade and maybe even 15 years to find an O/U this low on the Giants. Maybe as far back as when Dan Reeves was coaching them (but there was a big downturn in the early 2000's too).
Thought the Jets would get more respect (not much more but more)
And that Giants number can only rise quickly so if you want the under it will be 7.5 very very soon and possibly up from there.

can see the jets going over (like last year ) but i don't like it. i wouldn't touch that giants over. i just don't see what that team has going for it.
KC at 8 does seem a little strange.
i was hoping denver would be around 12.5 or so so i could come out of retirement with these bets and hit that under.

Giants way o7.. one of the easiest schedules one of the best FA's last year was a fluke so many injuries and all the offensive problems were on the offensive line and WRs dropping balls. Stevie Brown coming back will be huge with the addition of DRC and Thurmond in the secondary, a healthy JPP, a year of experience for Beason quarterbacking the defense. And the new OC could end up being the biggest addition this year Gilbride was horrible. Hopefully a healthy David Wilson and Jennings are a big step up at RB.. Hopefully add a Eric Ebron tonight to give Eli the big target hes been missing since plex and a legit TE for once (Eli made Kevin Boss and Brandon Myers look like Jimmy Graham in the past imagine what he could do with a talented TE) And for Eli last year was a total fluke with no protection and Gilbride refusing to run some screens or quick routes to get the ball out of his hands fast and WRs dropping easy passes into the defense's hands repeatedly caused him to have that kind of year last year.. He's still a 2x superbowl MVP
Say they beat the Texans, Jags, Titans, Rams, spilt with the Cowboys and Skins (they should beat at least one of them twice) then theyd have the 50/50 games against the Lions, Cards, or Colts...
very conservatively they should be 8-8 at worst but 10-6 9-7 easy $

I follow the jets pretty closely and if that # ever gets up to 8 I would take the under. I think they finish 7-9 or 6-10. They added some notable names (Decker, Johnson, Pryor, Amaro), but they also over-performed last year. -97 differential lead to 8-8.
I also have noticed when young QB's get an abundance of weapons in year 2 they tend to make more mistakes due to the pressure of producing and expecting more offense. (Happened to sanchez in year 2). The corner situation is also extremely precarious. I think Idzik is doing a great job rebuilding this team but his vision is long-term and you will see the Jets make the move in 1-2 years to the top of the AFC.
I see this team playing better this year but with the regression and inaccurate 8-8 last year 7-9 seems more realistic. It wouldn't surprise me to see an 8 team total pop up eventually and my money will be on the under.

Miami never opened that low, they barely pushed most numbers.
They'll 6-8 games again if they are lucky.
I'll take your 11 wins under for a million dollars.
No worries. I do an annual Dolphins thread and have correctly picked their record the two years I've been doing it.
The Dolphins went 4-2 vs teams that made the playoffs last year, with one of the worst O-lines in NFL history. ( and the two games they lost, Patriots and Panthers, they held leads in the 4th quarter.)
And yes the Dolphins win total opened at 6.5 last year and ended at 7.5-8 by week 1. Please don't try to tell me anything about the Dolphins. Its laughable.

I am beyond shocked that the Dolphins win total has opened at 6.5. Literally shocked. It is free money people, I promise you. Now I'm sure many people see me as a homer, but I accurately predicted the Fins record at 7-9 last year (when everyone was calling them a 1,2 or 3 win team.)
I can go off as to why this is an easy bet, and in time I will. Barring massive injuries, 7 wins is a given for this team. I expect it to end up around 8 by opening day.
I will do my best to bump this end of year, but Miami Dolphins over 6.5 wins is FREE money.
Thats my post from the thread about the Fins opening at 6.5
heres the thread: https://www.covers.com/postingforum/post01/showmessage.aspx?action=quote&ur=earthWake&id=118369499&spt=21&sub=101614147&page=2#reply
Dont doubt me when it comes to the Fins, you will end up looking foolish.

I'm a Dolphins fan and 7.5 is a good number. Tanahill is not the answer!
I'm not here to jack this thread and make it about the Fins, this is the last thing I'll say.
Year 1: 12 touchdowns, 3300 yards.
Year 2: 24 touchdowns, 3900 yards
Thats called progression my friend..Did I mention he had one of the worst offensive lines in NFL history? Got above average arm and legs. He is the answer and year 3 will prove that. Biggest year of his life and biggest year for Fins fans in the last 15

If you think Tannehill is the answer you are clearly not watching these games every Sunday. Pathetic reads, horrible throws, unnecessary sacks. His talent overall though is not impressive. Yes, I know Mike Wallace didn't help by dropping wide open balls throwin' to him.
My friend who is a Niner fan said it best. He is just like Alex Smith who played well enough to be a starter and not lose his job. Alex Smith is a solid starter now so maybe you are on to something. For the time being, he is horrific and I cannot wait until his era ends.
He was a receiver in college and had just one good year as a QB and then got drafted. Might I add his bonehead decision to not take his semi-auto out of the rental. I don't hear Manning, Brady or any of the top tier QB's doing bonehead mistakes like that off the field. Maybe the closet thing I can think of off the top of my head is Big Ben's raping in Lake Tahoe, but he wasn't found guilty.

I've seen every throw he has ever made in the NFL, and I am more than sold he is the future. If you disagree, thats on you, but I know what I see. Some of my friends who absolutely live to rip on me about the Fins all have nothing but praise for Tannehill and some of the throws he makes. Again, a second year quarterback with a horrible offensive line. He will continue to improve and get better.
Comments like this will make me not take you seriously in a hurry. RYAN TANNEHILL WAS NEVER REALLY A RECEIVER.
He was recruited by Texas AM to play QB. When he got there, they had a plethora of good QBs. Tannehill was clearly the most athletic of the young QBs so they asked him to move to WR to fill a need. If anything, that just goes to show his athleticism. Get your facts straight before you diss the QB of your favorite team for the next 10 years.

New oline but that doesn't mean it will be that much better if at all. A LOT of those sacks were on RT. And the depth at that position is horrible. Albert has played a full 16 once. And your depending on two rookies to play significant snaps. One of which was a huge reach.
That defense looks absolutely awful right now. Decent dline but bad backers and worse secondary. Koa Misi is your best lb. Thats scary. And besides Grimes I have serious doubts about anyone starting on another roster.
Mike Wallace and Dion Jordan are perfect examples of who the fins are and what their about. Overpaid and poor decision making.
The Bills, Jets and fins are all in the same situation. Average to poor qb's. HC's who haven't a clue and zero depth. Their all 6-8 win teams. Pats were killed with injuries last year and none could take the div. NE improved big time in their weakest areas and added the best cb since prime and BB who is very good in his own right.

Pro Bowl means absolutely nothing anymore. Hasn't in a long time. Albert has played a full 16 once. It takes time to gel, more than one off season. And again your going to be depending on 2 rookies. One of which was a huge reach. Probably biggest reach in the first. In a div that will have some of the best dlines in football. Miami is a train wreck. Your on a gambling website acting like a complete fan boy. Go to a fins board an circle jerk. Every year its the same story in march and June with Bills, jets and fins fans. "This is the year", "watch out RT" etc. And every year its the same homers, like you, who make excuses in Jan when real football is played. Last year you had your chance and chocked on cock. This year Pats reloaded and cant possibly be hit with that many injuries. Even if they are theyve shown they can overcome it. One little scandal and Miami chokes. Awful HC, average QB, weak oline and awful defense. Yeah Im sure the whole NFL is scared to death of you guys. Go pretend youve been a Heat fan forever so you can at least cling to something that looks like a winner.
