Listen, dont be fooled by the talk of players that are banged up for ATL. What player really isnt these days? Bottom line is this, the Jets have played Buffalo, Tampa, NE in a rainstorm and Tennessee, not exactly world beaters on offense. The only team with a great O is NE and they got them with NONE of their regular wide outs playing at all, in a big time rain storm for some of the game and STILL lost. No Stephen Hill, no Dee Milliner. Who is going to cover Julio Jones? Roddy White? Tony Gonzalez? Whos gonna keep up with J Rodgers coming out of the backfield? And when the Jets are on O, who's Geno throwing to other than Holmes, which can easily be shut down by a solid ATL secondary.
This has TOTAL mismatch all over it. TOTAL BLOWOUT. Wouldnt be shocked at all to see a 34-3 kind of game here. ATL needs the game, ATL is home, ATL is massively more talented at every position. And I didnt even mention a better coach in Smith and a great talent who can make all the throws in Matt Ryan. Should be 23-0 at half and ATL puts it in cruise control rest of the way.

One of the most inaccurate posts I've ever seen on here.
Stephen Hill is cleared to play and will start
Santonio Holmes is out, Jeremy Kerly will start in his place
Roddy White has been struggling with a high ankle sprain all season and has been ineffective
"Solid Atlanta secondary? They are giving up over 300 yards a game and have given up 9 TD passes in 4 games
Who's going to keep up with J Rogers? The Jets are one of the top teams in the league against the run so far giving up 80 yards per game.
Who's going to cover Julio Jones? Antonio Cromartie that's who and he'll probably be double teamed because White in the shape he's in can't seperate from anybody.

So I guess New Orleans, NE, St Louis and Miami are all comparable teams to the crap the Jets have played? Gimme a break. Please stop the madness fellas. Cromartie isnt keeping up with Julio Jones all game. And I'll take a banged up Roddy White against the rest of the Jets. And you watch Harry Douglas have a big game from the slot if they try to double JJ.
I didnt mean whos going to stop J Rodgers from running, meant when he swings out of the backfield like Sproles does and gets one on one with an LB.
So take your ridic stats above and choke on them. Of course ATL gives up yards passing in the secondary, theyve gone up against Brees, Brady, and solid QBs in Tannehill and Bradford.
Again, good luck with your losing play on the Jets

You do realize Atlanta lost 3 of those 4 games, right? And Sam Bradford is not solid in any world, he stinks.
And both teams played Brady. Jets did a MUCH better job against Brady and would have probably won if Geno didn't turn the ball over 3 times in the 4th quarter. And that was on the road.
Falcons lost to New England at home.
Atlanta will not be able to run the ball at all. The Falcons could move the ball very effectively with a short passing game, but his line won't give him time to go deep. It hasn't given him time all year to go deep, and the Jets are by far the best defensive line the Falcons have faced all season.
If Geno doesn't turn the ball over all the time, the Jets have a chance for the win.
This just reeks of a fan who plays fantasy football and is basing his analysis based on that and public perception. The only defensive player you mentioned was Dee Milliner, who is probably the Jets' 4th best cornerback right now.

This is a horrible thread with terrible information. Falcons are not good and their defense is atrocious.
Hey....He's allowed his opinion same as you Papa. There's a lot of people who believe what he is saying. If your that much against his thoughts about the game.......write a rebuttal. Looking forward to it.

lol JetFan, Fantasy Football? lol nah, not me fruit loop. But thanks for letting me know what I MAY be. Clown. Anyway, you mock me but yet you are nothing more than a homer trying to stand up for his miserable team. So please, go back to sleep.
Point is, the talent between these two teams is HUGE and the Jets have no real depth anywhere to keep up. You people keep saying IF IF IF Geno the Turnover Machine doesnt turn it over, well lemme tell ya pork chop, HE DOES...ALOT! lol...As does Eli Manning. So stop saying if he doesnt, cause he does and he will. The Jets have played NOBODY aside from a beatdown and injured Pats team in a rain storm. NOBODYYYYYYYY. You think they are gonna roll in the dome tonight against a very good ATL team and not get hammered? Uhhhh, did ya see the Tennessee game?

Thx Cooler...ya know, i didnt come on here sayin im betting $75,000 on the game!! lol didnt say take it to the bank and get some sleep....all I said was why I strongly feel the Falcons take this game. But good luck to those who go the other side of it.

Friday Update: Roddy White revealed after Friday's practice he experienced a setback in last week's loss to New England. "I ain't where I need to be yet," he said. White said he's already looking past Monday night's matchup with the Jets, and toward Atlanta's Week 6 bye. White has been playing only because he wants to keep his consecutive games-played streak alive. He's hurting his team and himself.

You mean that same injured and beat-up Patriots team that beat the Falcons in their own building right after that game? The Falcons played New Orleans, sure, but their other games are against Miami and St. Louis. Tennessee and Buffalo (with Manuel) is about the same level of competition.
I would take the Jets +10.5 points which is what I'm seeing now. I don't think the Jets will end up winning, and I could definitely see Geno turning the ball over too much as he's been prone to do.
I would have a longer rebuttal, but I feel dumber reading your posts, and I don't want to sink to your level.

once again Jet Fan, you do bore me with mindless replies. Let's leave it at that and just make our plays. You're clueless thinking is a waste of moments from my life.

I'm not picking a side and I'm not saying Atlanta won't win or cover. You just had a lot of inaccurate statements in the original post and a bunch of people saw it. Good luck with your wagers.

Fair enough. Continue to butcher the English language.

No all the secondary...
They have NO PASS RUSH... this could be Geno's coming out party...

Your thread title just seeks attention. Laying double digits with the Falcons, regardless if they cover or not tonight, is just not a smart bet against a solid defense. Atlanta has NO pass rush. Geno will be able to hang out in the pocket and make some plays. I don't trust Matt Ryan in such an important game againsta Rex Ryan ddefense. Falcons are by far the worst D the Jets have faced this season. Falcons probably win this game with a late TD. Can't see a blowout.

Geno's biggest problem other than throwing interceptions is that he stays in the pocket too long. Against stout front sevens in Tampa, Buffalo, New England and Tennessee, that led to mistakes. Atlanta doesn't have nearly the pass rushers or interior presences that any of those teams have.
No Wilfork, no Dareus, no Jurrell Casey, no Mario Williams. Atlanta has a washed up Osi Umenyiora trying to provide its pass rush.
The Jets SHOULD be able to move the ball on the Falcons both on the ground and through the air. Turnovers will be the biggest issue.
The Falcons won't be able to move the ball on the ground. However, they have enough weapons where a quick passing game will give Rex and the Jets issues.
The Falcons are in trouble if...
1. They don't win the turnover battle
2. They continue to struggle in the red zone
I think both teams will be able to move the ball on the other's defense, but getting 7 points instead of 3 will be an issue.
And Delino... "You're clueless thinking is a waste of moments from my life."

I'm pretty sure when I was in pre-school, I could have written a better constructed sentence than that.

not looking for attention at all, im not that guy one bit. But fair enough, agree to disagree. And sure, in sports, anything can happen. And this could be a backdoor cover for sure. But if, and it's always an if, the Falcons come out and move the ball on O and make Geno throw, yeah, I think the Falcons win handily. Time will tell.

Gotcha, YOUR clueless thinking, my bad, now I feel better about myself and my education. Phew! Valid points about the game, and again, agree to disagree. Offenses use quick short passes to make up for shaky running games. We'll see that tonight. And I expect them to use Douglas a lot tonight for that.

Will add a small tease here with Atlanta and the under. Not expecting much from the jets at all tonight. Yep Atlanta defense is shaky, against good offenses! Jets do not qualify as such
