#5 Posted: 2/7/2013 9:56:33 AM probably a good move after surgery and given his age but wilson can't replace him until he learns how to understand defenses and block for the qb.

#7 Posted: 2/7/2013 12:12:17 PM Reese and Coughlin know what they are doing. Injury plagued players and under performers get traded or released. Look at Jacobs, Ware, Manningham, Boss, Steve Smith, etc. What happened to them? Left the Giants and did nothing. Looks like GM and Coach know something about football. The Giants will be fine without Bradshaw. |

well, 27 going into the season and he's taken a beating with the way he runs and because he's such a good pass blocker (unlike wilson who's a mess) , plus a couple of surgeries. once a RB gets towards 30, it's downhill fast for most of them. and bradshaw is probably an older 27 than most because of his style. this is probably the right time. some organizations are good at getting rid of players when they just start to go downhill.

#9 Posted: 2/7/2013 8:20:28 PM I am not looking up stats for this but Ive always thought that age 27 and 28 would be a RBs prime |

#10 Posted: 2/7/2013 8:34:19 PM If this guy could ever play a full 16 games as a featured running back getting 20-25 carries a game, he'd be a stud. But he's always getting banged up. I'm gonna miss him. Played his butt off. Hopefully, no one signs him (teams scared of his injury history) and the Giants get him back at a discount. |

#11 Posted: 2/7/2013 9:24:39 PM Great move. Wilson and Brown are both younger, more talented, and cheaper. No reason to continue an overrated back in a crowded rotation. Wonder who gets the better contract between him and Reg. |
