Begging for calls, a coach that never thinks his team should ever get a penalty, and players that have no respect for their opponents when they were clearly beat by a better team.

From Frank Gore: “They got away with one,” Gore said, via the Associated Press. “We showed we were the better team. It was just a couple plays here, a couple plays there.”

Nothing but a classless bunch of whiners San Francisco is, SCOREBOARD!!

I always called them FortyWhiners.

Jim Harbaugh was screaming his two front teeth out yelling HOLDING to everyone.  He went up to the press and then continued to nag and whine about HOLDING.

They never even thought that the 37 minute poweroutage was the reason why SF was able to come back from this.  It should had been a beatdown because Balt had them on the ropes and were giving out KO punches.

I hear ya Steve...Jimmy wanted refs help on a desperation heave. There was a hold there but there was a mugging the prior week in Atlanta on their last drive. It all comes around. Refs try not to decide game. Great no call and great win for Baltimore...

My money was on the Ravens, but come on guys, the 49ers were hosed in this game big time. I was sitting there the entire game witnessing holds, pass interference, etc. on the Ravens that just wasn't called. The 4th and goal was the easiest holding call I've probably ever seen in football, how is that not called? What about the 3rd down play right before this one that should have definitely been a 15 yard penalty for a helmet to helmet on a defenceless receiver. I know emotions usually side the what your money is on, but the Ravens got away with just about anything they wanted.

They weren't calling a whole lot on the niners either honestly. Flacco got pounded 3 yards out of bounds.

Kapernicks owning the loss putting it  on himself (which is a load of crap he was awesome), but it does show that some of their players have class.

I hate when people use insignificant information to either back or garbage down a claim. That game was over 2 weeks so and is completely irrelevant. I'm talking about a play in the Superbowl which directly effected the outcome of the game. The 49ers would have had 1st and goal on the 1. The biggest Ravens fan in the world could see that it was the easiest holding call ever. The defender was holding with 2 hands 7 yards down the field and never even looked at the all never mind played the ball. Like I said, I'm happy I cashed my Ravens ticket, but I hate seeing a team go down like that.

bottom line is niners didnt deserve to be in this game and it completely showed as they got absolutely dominated up until that suspicious blackout

49ers didn't deserve to be in this game? Do you understand sports? Ravens dominated first half, 49ers dominated 2nd half. Just because the Ravens dominated the first half of the game, it means they didn't deserve it?

If you think that ball was uncatchable, I feel very, very sorry for you.

how about when akers just feel down and the free kick...also after that as stated in post #6 the Flacco hit . that was a flag for sure but no call. the hold in the end zone was a desperation heave with a very small chance without the hold. It was  both ways really and even the officials they chose for the game were questionable. You can't tell me that ref is better the Ed Hockily...that light thing is very suspicious. strange game. The men won it and not the cry babies

How is it completely irrelevant when it was the same type of play? Bowman hampered Roddy White on that play which would have given the Falcons a 1st and goal. It was a close play and could have been called. Same thing with Smith on Crabtree. Could have been called but the officials already showed they weren't going to call ticky tack stuff in that situation.

SF was the beneficiary one week and on the other end the next. That how it goes.

ur joking right? the refs let them play the whole game, there were a lot of penalties not called...

and in all honesty the game should have never even been that close, if not for the bull sh!t blackout that let the niners regroup, cuz the ravens were going in for the kill but lost all momentum cuz of the 30+ minute delay

While officiating was horrible,(examples- holdng call, late hit on flacco, williams non-ejection for pushing ref), 49ers should only blame themselves for the loss.  That was awful play calling in the red zone in the last 2 mins of game.  And when you have 2 wks to prepare for game, how can you line up wrong on the first play of the game?  This cost them a 20 yd catch by Davis and lost them any chance for momentum at that start of the game.

The White play is a good analogy as it involves the exact same principle.   In my view there is a differnce in degrees, however, as the foul in the SB was more egregious.   Still, the bottom line, in both cases we had bad plays, bad passes, which should not have been rewarded w penalties.  Also, in both cases, the better team won the game.  In the SB, the 49ers lost cuz they couldnt stop flacco on 3rd down

Ravens were so lucky to win this game 2 turnover for 14 points, a special teams touchdown, an offsides penalty that gave them a touchdown, an illegal formation that killed a drive, a BLATANT defensive holding penalty that cost San Fransisco the ball and the game... the list goes on and on. The better team lost, if they played 10 times the Niners win 8 and should have won yesterday if the correct call was made.
