Yeh, I'd really HAVE to take some time off of the sports betting forums for sure if it really happened!

#14 Posted: 2/3/2013 9:38:05 PM In all honesty, this is a friggin disgrace. But that's what you stupid American box get for turning your biggest sporting occasion into a friggin freak show every year with a moronic concert at half time. A power outage was always going to happen some year.
Do you see friggin Beyonce playing half time in the soccer world cup final? Or in the AFL grand final? Or in the cricket world cup final? Or in the rugby world cup final? Or after the 3rd set in a Wimbledon final? Or after the 2nd round in the US Masters?
Nope, but its all about the money with you thick box.
This has completely and utterly turned a sporting event on its head for no sporting reason. Ravens have been fucked over here huge through no fault of their own. |

IN ALL HONESTY, I almost agree with you. Sure the NFL is all about THE MONEY. And yes, it does TAKE AWAY FROM THE SPORT, but that really is just ASSUMING.
BUT, in all fairness, the whole RULE CHANGING to PROTECT PLAYERS, technically IS about the money.
These players are worth a LOT of money and changing the rules is part of an "Insurance Company's" job.
Lockout, court battles between players and owners,....it all makes sense.
I DO give "futbol" or soccer a lot of props for their "REAL" fan fair and love of the game. I really do think that soccer (in other countries) is more of a LIFE than a Money-Making Machine.
Good to hear from you and mostly agree (assuming it is the Outside the US perspective coming from "soccer" or the ORIGINAL FUTBOL.

TRUE, the Niners HAVE been a great 2nd-half team, but it ONLY MAKES IT EASIER BY STOPPING (OR SLOWING) THE BALTIMORE RAVEN'S MOMENTUM.
Best of Luck....getting a good response from this thread title.
I think it had over 300 looks within 5 minutes!

#20 Posted: 2/3/2013 9:47:36 PM You cant down play momentum...easy argument for the outage playing a part in this if SF wins...the way it was going SF was reeling and a break allowed them to regroup and Baltimore to lose some of that push |

It doesn't, he is talking about the MONEY in which the NFL is all about as compared to soccer in other countries where is is about the SPORT.
