There have only been six instances where the favorite won the game straight up but failed to cover the number. Those outcomes occurred in 2009, 2005, 2004, 2996, 1989 and 1976.

This is a classic stat.

Esp. in this instance with the ravens D. playing like they and are finally healthy for the 1st time in the playoffs.

What the ravens do in the reg. season leading up to the playoffs is like the preseason for almost all others leading to the reg. season.

The light goes on like no others when the playoffs start for the Ravens (with the exception of the NYG)

So the reg. season means just enough to get you there, thats all.

The stat. in THIS thread cannot find a better exsample than Balt. and the NYG cause that what they do--PLAYOFFS

Reg. season means very little.
