Anybody I've heard taking the Ravens is taking them mostly because of Ray Lewis.  Many of those Ravens' backers think the Niners are better, but "have a feeling" the Ravens will win.  I will take the better team in this game.  Niners will win by over a TD.

I can list all of the reasons why I think the NIners are clearly better, but just read Bill Barnwell's article on the preview of the game.  Balt backed into the playoffs, beat one of the worst teams ever to make the playoffs, faced Manning in 10 degree weather, then beat one of their rivals that they knew they could beat.   Niners are a completely different animal and in a dome?  We shall see.

Pops its easy to make an argument either way I do get that... but Ill just lkeave with this fact. The SF is a mess not just a little mes a big mess and they have players who for whatever reason have disappeared. See Justin and Aldo Smith.

Balt D is 2nd in Red Zone Scoring Defense allowing 42% conversion of TDs on red zone opportunities

San Fran D is 27th in Red Zone Scoring Defense allowing 59% conversion of TD's

Furthermore, on the road San Fran allows a ridiculous 72% conversion of TD's in the red zone

Aldon Smith had 19.5 sacks in the reg. season he has ZERO during the playoffs, Flacco has been sacked four times in three games with that revamped Oline, where is the pass rush for SF in this game???

Balt D is giving up 14 points per game in the playoffs. Going to Denver and NE. SF D is giving up 27.5 per game. There D has been a shadow of its self. In fact in there last 5 games they are giving up almost 29 points per game

Last common opponent NE ... SF gives up 34. Balt gives up 13

Better team doesn't mean they'll will it.  Ask the Patriots.  Giants beat them twice.  I do agree Balty is the better that's why public will jump on them and take the points.

10 teams from the wild card round made the SB in the past 15 years and they are `10-0 ATS in the big game, 7-3 SU winners to.

In the past 7 years 6  teams from the wild card round made the SB and they are 6-0 ATS and 5-1 SU.

Since`1995,  just 1 that is right just 1 higher seeded favorite has covered the spread in the SB.

Ravens have the common denominators of those past wild card teams.

Wild card teams who have had a higher QBPasser rating diff and ave per pass diff throughout the playoffs are 6-1 ATS in the SB.

Ravens have been far, far  better than 9ers in both.......................................................

Good luck to anyone who plans to fade this Ravens machine....................................................

I disagree with your "Ray" theory, Ravens are more experienced, better QB, and people don't realize but their OLine has been lights out.

Niners O-Line will dominate this game.  Honestly, anybody can make points for either side.  I think the Niners are better and Kaepernick will be unfazed.  Way more pressure on Flacco and Ray to get it done.  I'm excited and hope I can cash the ticket tomorrow.
