#1 Posted: 1/29/2013 7:41:17 PM Niners are more physical at the point of attack, which is along both the offensive and defensive lines. The fellas on the lines will dictate what happens. Baltimore has some physicality, but not enough to handle the Niners brute style. Niners D has more answers for Balt O than Balt D has for Niner O.
SAN FRAN - 2 (-153) available on 5dimes right now

knockdown my friend, i've watched balt play for many years,
new eng is very finesse,
they make a slightly physical defense look physical,
balt has some toughness, no question about it,
but when that type of team plays a grind it out hard nosed team, they tend to curl up,
just watch

#7 Posted: 1/30/2013 5:26:14 AM with a field goal and a half advantage, the niners should be the favorite. although the ravens have the ability to produce an upset just like what they did against the broncos and pats. they sure do have a lot to bring to the table. Flacco is really producing right now also with Kaepernick. Its going to be a tight game for sure..but ill go with the ravens on this one because of ray rice's legs and ray lewis' back.
currently on SBOBET..niners -3.5 (47.50) |

yes, i stated it poorly. they won't curl up but i dont think they'll have answers for the physical niners.
the colts, the broncos and the pats are nowhere near as physical as the niners so you do not have a good reference point for how the ravens will do against a physical team in terms of being successful |

#10 Posted: 1/30/2013 12:21:24 PM The Ravens 12 yrs ago and perhaps even 6-7 years ago, were as physical as this Niner team. The 2000 team that won the SB was unquestionably as physical.
this current team, at the point of attack, is simply not as physical on either the O-line or the D-line, as the Niners are.
sorry, they are just not. |

Exactly. These Ravens are physically, but they are nowhere near as fast and physical as this SF defense. You will rarely see them miss a tackle. I've said it since last year, they are the best overall defense in the league. And the people that point out certain high scoring games or certain sores in their season, have never watched a Niner game. |

#14 Posted: 2/1/2013 10:27:21 PM Double Up read the original post from 1/29,
i got -2 (-153)
not giving away 3.5 pts to balt,
buying onto 3 is basically like buying the push,
the key is but THROUGH the 3,
-2.5 and -2 a small difference,
-2 lands more often than one might think,
at the time ML was -175
-2 was -153
saved 22 cents to bet -2 instead of ML,
i like it.
