I had actually written a great write up about why I'm leaning Raven's +4/Under 48.5 but when trying to post it, the site crashed and nothing showed up. So screw it.
For what it's worth I think both teams mirror each other physcially from the defenses, O-Lines, running attack, and deep ball threat...but it's going to come down to mental toughness and I think the Ravens have the edge in this category. But then again, the 49ers are still pissed about last years NFC championship game and could say FTW and pound Baltimore.
Will do extensive research and post final plays The Wednesday/Thursday before Super Bowl Sunday. Any thoughts or comments are welcomed..

The way they dismantled the Patriots really showed me something. What I wanted to write about was was how both teams played the Patriots when at 100%...the 49ers almost let it slip, the Ravens kept their foot on their throats.
What is really pusing me to the Ravens side is this...C Kap has not been hit by a defense like Baltimore all season. Any chance they get, they're going to try and blast him into remembering their names/numbers. It happened all day agaisnt the Patriots yesterday, even when the plays were clearly over Baltimore would come in and get an extra "pop" in, or lay someone out on the sideline. Outside of Seattle and the Rams the 49ers havent had a nasty defense like this one...and they havent faired well against either particularly well.
The Rams tied the 49ers and outright beat them, remember that. And for what it's worth I think Baltimore has a better offense than St. Louis has. The Ravens have a more experienced defense with 2-4 games they can plan for (all 4 games against Rams/Seattle) to look for film on. The 49ers are essentially playing themselves this SB and I think they might try to outsmart themselves, or just not be able to execute in the flats as well as Baltimore.
...almost talking myself into a Ravens lock, but there is so much to consider. Anyone know anything about the officiating crew? Has it been released?
