Wussup guys. Long time lurker here. I don't post very often, but I have a situation here. I have a prop bet for Niners to win the super bowl. I got it at +1000 in the beginning of the season. I did it for $200, so its risk $200 to win $2,000. So far, I felt confident that we would beat the Packers, and I just let it ride. I felt okay about us beating the Falcons, so I just let it ride. My question to you is this: What would you do? My book has the ravens at +160 for the ml at the moment, and I feel like people will be jumping all over the Niners. Should I wait till later on in the week to hedge? Or do I need to hedge my bet with that +160 ASAP? Do I hedge at all?? Mind Fvck. lol. Thanks for the opinions guys.

Hedge it and you may win both sides as whats been stated. may want to split it tho ats and ml to give you that chance. You're a guaranteed winner before the game even starts and thats what it's all about. how much more will you enjoy it knowing you're collecting either way. Great position to be in and kudos are in order.

Hedge it. Probably balt ml 800 to win 1280-200 of the 49ers future. You win 1000.
If 49ers win youll win 1200

Look at it this way, hedge $1000 on the Ravens with the points so basically, you are risking $1000 to make $3000 with a guaranteed profit of $1000 minus the juice. Nice scenerio to be in for sure.

Depends on how bad you need money...

If you need gurranteed money to pay a few bills, then hedge(you earned the right to hedge by your future bet)

BUT, you did make that bet for a reason. SO, if money is not an issue, let it ride and see if your foreshawdowing paid off.

I tend to look at gambling from a money management standpoint...Therefore, i would hedge.

I would bet $200 on the Ravens moneyline. Then you win either way. $1800 or whatever the Ravens will pay you out.

Don't get greedy, you have a very rare chance to win money regardless of the outcome!

Depending how confident you are with the 49rs you can certainly bet more on Baltimore, but definitely bet the $200 at the very least.

Common question, easy answer that almost never gets said.

Hedge the amount by which you feel you need to win.

So say you will win $1000 if San Fran wins, but you want to make sure you win at least $400.  So, play Baltimore ML to win $400.

If San Fran wins, you lose the Baltimore ML, but that's ok, as you still won well over $400.

I have SF at +1300.  I have already hedged this game with Balt +170 and +4.   Its a great position to be in, dont get greedy, I am finally going into March Madness with house $$$.

I was staring at SF vs Balt +3700 before the playoffs started and am bummed i didnt bang that.  The two best teams are squaring off.  I think that Balt wins this game but will be rooting like mad for our 9ers.

I had the Tigers to win the World Series. Look what happened when I just let it ride!!!

Put 1K on the Ravens +3.5. Last week I won with the Falcons +4 AND 49ers -3.5...hehe

Go to Reno and bet $4000 on the ravens, that way you can get paid after the game and be a genius
