Here in Baltimore we have had a ridiculous situation where our O line was missing a key pieces and players out of postion. Its a long story but finally Mckinney is back at LT and Oher is back at RT and Yanda is also back from injury. This is the first time this season we have the O line where it was supposed to be.

The result in the past two games has been amazing. Flacco is getting time to throw and with his cannon of an arm we are on fire from an offensive standpoint. In Ravens playoff history can you guess what the two biggest offensive games have been. Thats right Indy and now Denver. Scoring 24 and 38 and putting up 440 yds and 480 yds. Please note we would have scored more in the Indy game if Ray Rice dosent fumble twice. Over Flaccos last six playoff game he has thrown for 1,485 yds 12 TDs and 2 INTs for a 101.8 passer rating.

Lets talk D we are the healthiest we have been all yr and the addition of somebody you may not know is Corey Graham who finally got to start when we have injuries in the secondary. Corey had two Ints in the Denver game and with Cary Williams has solidified the secondary. The emergence of Danell Ellerby and Paul Kruger and really helped the D come back from a horrible start. In the two playoff game we have given up 9 and 21 pts. Also please note that in the second half and both OTs in the Denver game this D game up 7 points

I could keep going about how we match up very well with NE we always have. Please check out the last 5 games in the series. Balt is 2-3 SU and 2-2-1 ATS with their losses by 6, 3, 3. The Patriots are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 playoff games and the underdog is 3-0-1 ATS in the last four meetings.

Bottom line forget I am a homer from my cappering perspective 9 pts is too high and I have cashed two tickets in the first two playoff games and the Indy ticket being my biggest cash of my life. I rarely play my team but i knew the Denver line was a joke as the indy line was. Brady said it best after they beat Houston. He said "The two best teams are in the AFC championship" he has played both Denver and Balt this year and he lost to Balt.

BALTIMORE +9

This next game to me is a no brainer the better team is SF. Seattle plays half a game and almost wins. If not for some major blunders by Wilson and Carroll in the first half Seattle wins that game. Across the board SF is the stronger team in fact I think they are the best team in the NFL.

The Falcons have major problems with running QBs and they are 0-5 ATS in the last 5 playoff games. Cam Newton threw for 502 yards with four TDs while rushing for 202 and two scores in two games against them in 2012. In last Sunday's 30-28 win over Seattle, Russell Wilson passed for 385 yards with two TDs while running for 60 and a score on seven carries. Kapernick should have a field day.

SF -4

With Kaepernick, SF seems very similar to Seattle as a whole.  Assuming that's the case, now you have over a 7 point swing in the point spread against Atlanta (in Atlanta).  I'm just not seeing it the way most are.  Wrong team is favored, in my opinion.

I agree with Baltimore.

Excellent point on SF/ATL game.

Further research shows that since 1978 ATL is the biggest home underdog in any round of the playoffs for a number 1 seed. Also the the biggest home underdog of any team in the conference championship. Falcons are a good home team and Matt Ryan has won 85% of his home games.

I am gonna hang my hat on the way the second half went in the sea/atl game. Atl looked over matched

Are you the William Munny ...killer of innocent women and children and no good scoundrel? Consider this Bill...the Ravens are lucky to even be playing this week. If not for a ridiculous blown coverage they should have been seven point losers to the Broncos. Is it such a reach for New England with Brady and an arsenal of  scoring options to win by ten? Consider also that last weeks game had to have taken a toll on these guys physically....how much is left in the tank. Don't get me wrong I don't want to see Ray Lewis go out in Foxboro but the Pats can put a hurting on you in a hurry. Do like the Raven track record against Brady and CO.and they should have won last year...but the New England defense is better than it was a year ago. Not jumping in the pool with you just yet without putting a toe in the water first. Good Luck though......loved the way you blew up Grilly's saloon

Lets get busy on some great info may change your mind on who you wil ltake may even change mine but only in the SF/ATL game.

Favorites in Conference Championship game have covered 57% of the time since 1978

Favorites have covered 6 of 8 playoff games this season

SF/ATL

Atlanta has trouble on defense against quarterbacks who run the ball:
giving up almost 9 yards per rush against QBs (the WORST in the NFL) Cam Newton – another young, running QB rushed for OVER 200 yards in 2 games against Atlanta.

49ers gained 1.4 MORE yards per rush than they give up (best in NFL)
Falcons gained 1.1 LESS yards per rush then they give up (2nd worst in NFL)

5 games they didn’t win this year: yielded an average of 143 yards on the ground.

Ryan at home: QB rating of 86 . . . 111 on road

Teams that score 40 or more points in playoffs: 3-20 ATS the next week

49ers lost 5 straight road playoff games – have not won a road playoff game since 1989

Baltimore/New England

Prior 20 Conference Championship games
only ONE other team has been THIS BIG of a favorite.

Once again, the public LOVES the big favorite
2 out of 3 bets so far on the Patriots (morons)

And for all the talk of Ray Lewis being WASHED-UP
Baltimore this season was 5-5 without him; 7-1 WITH him

the Pats have covered ONLY 2 of the last 10 playoff games

Brady: 97 QB rating vs. league | 83 QB rating vs Ravens.

Teams that score 40 or more points in playoffs: 3-20 ATS the next week

biggest play comming this sunday on baltimore

Why do you have to be such a D I C K.  He's trying his best to explain his opinion, and all you can do is call him a moron, correct his facts as only a D I C K can.  And then tell him to stop capping, like your the capper police.

Can't you just say your opinion in a constructive way?  I understand there are guys in here that totally deserve the treatment your dishing out, hell, I do it too...

Why discourage someone who is trying to help....just straighten out the facts that are wrong...state yours...and between the two of you, people can get a better perspective for the game.
