#53 Posted: 1/15/2013 1:46:04 PM I like Atlanta, no fan just feel a second year qb and first year starter not going to win the biggest game of his life in a visiting field. Line rising seems to say most people disagree. Money seems to be on SF. |

#57 Posted: 1/15/2013 5:45:00 PM Since SF is Soooooo much better why is line 3.5 and 4? Ive yet to get an answer on this. Sf backers calling for a blowout, arent you a little concerned your not seeing bigger line move? I know people Are saying its 5, but i have one thats still at 3!
I guess if its that easy, everyone will be max bet on SF... |

They were very rattled.
If you call rattled being told all week you are a choke artist and then you throw a 4th quarter INT and watch your team blow a 20 point lead in the 4th and you only have 30 seconds left. You come back out and throw 2 lasers's one a tough deep out pattern and both against the blitz and win the game then yes Matt Ryan and ATL was rattled |

it wasnt at 5 for that long. i wished i grabbed it...its back down to 3.5 at my local now...and since im based in new orleans, i get favorable atlanta lines more often than not...i wonder if it'll go back up or will it settle now... |

#61 Posted: 1/15/2013 6:39:43 PM Winning in the NFL is all about finding value. Yes anyone can beat anybody on a Sunday as we saw with Balt beating Denver. ATL no. 1 seed vs SF no. 2 seed. ATL higher win pct. during season, better home record. Yes SF looked more impressive in the last playoff game but -4 on the road against the no. 1 seed is a joke. at best SF is a pick. ATL +4 HUGE is the play with tremendous value.

You need to confuse with coverages as he has not seen a whole lot in the NFL. He never beat Hawaii while at NV so that in itself should be enough . SF can be the better team, maybe not on this day or for this game. Atlanta has got to be a little better. They looked dismal in their pass rush so maybe at least take away the run and take your chances he can beat you passing. Maybe he makes bad decisions like Peyton did. The SB qbs usually are Eli, Ben, Tom, Aaron, Kurt, Drew, Peyton, all experienced qbs. That is how I see it, if I am wrong, I am wrong. That is why they call this gambling.
Bra i stay hawaii and kaep never beat us but he absolutely destroyed the sh*t out of us! Too bad the rest of his team sucked. If ATL sells out to stop the run - they will
1. Have DE's stay home which makes running lanes bigger for Gore and James. Gore led league in runs over 15 yards and ATL allows 4.9 yds a carry
2. Be f*cked on the play action as Vernon Davis aka the fastest TE in NFL history and his 4.38 40 flys by the LB's for huge gains. Think about what Zack Miller did, now ponder how much more talent VD has |

#63 Posted: 1/16/2013 2:33:49 AM If they play zone which they very well might, that opens up more running lanes AND in the passing game with kaep's heater, crabtree will eat it alive + no pass rush for ATL |

#64 Posted: 1/16/2013 3:00:55 AM Man. Am I the only one that noticed WHY Atlantas running game was successful? No Clemons! Irvin's a fast pass rusher. He can't handle a OLineman run blocking his behind. How many runs were off Tackle? |

#65 Posted: 1/16/2013 3:10:33 AM Can't compare his time at Nevada to now. The offense requires u to man up across the board which is hard to do because not everyone is that good and Hawaii had good defense almost all those years that Kaep played against them. In the pros, speed across the board and Kaep is still pulling this garbage off. That's something. |

#67 Posted: 1/16/2013 2:16:38 PM Falcons have already(admittedly with considerable luck) beaten the strongest NFC opponent. They now believe.......Kapernick is all full of himself and will get his come-uppance as I feel he's not quite on par with Seattle's QB. SF may win, but Atl will cover if not win.
Stay the course Estes |

#69 Posted: 1/16/2013 5:21:20 PM I have watched this niners team closely as a seattle fan.......after much deliberation I am taking falcons +4 and ml +175 and I say they win by 10+ points leavin SF backers and fans with they dicksons in their hands! GL........SF is vulnerable through the air Matty ice and those recievers will have a field day with the secondary! I believe it was 2 or three years ago Atl visited SF maybe four and roddy white and ryan torched the niners! Same thing will happen on Sunday! GL |

#70 Posted: 1/16/2013 5:22:42 PM Wow! That "ok guy" comment? I love how people get sarcastic and big chested in A FORUM! Read carefully girl! I did not say they would run at Clemons. I implied that they noticed the size matchup at the tackle vs DE and exploited it. Irvin almost got to Ryan on a few occasions when they were pass blocking. Vs run block? Irvin was getting slammed. Falcons used a lot of runs off tackle. 49ers do not have a mismatch like this and I think we will see the type of mediocre Falcons run game that we have seen this year. If Falcons win or cover it would have to be thru air imo. Im on 9ers at 3. Who knows, could be a 2 point win like Seattle game, could be a smashing by 9ers. Either way, one will lose but its gambling. I tokd myself whoever is here from NFC West will win SB and I guess I put my money where my mouth is. |

#71 Posted: 1/16/2013 5:30:19 PM Harbaugh was not there if it was 3-4 years ago. This is his 2nd year with the 49ers. Different D from Singletary. Some same players though. |

#74 Posted: 1/16/2013 9:56:17 PM Difference in this game is they won't be able to run it like last week which was their big advantage and reason they built a lead yet still kissing it good bye and if it were not for Seattle scoring a play too soon are watching this one on TV.. Lucky to be here w/ monkey off their back having not won a playoff game in 100 years...SF on a mission w/ significant coaching advantage on a business trip. |
