from a quality and consistency standpoint.  if you think that's crazy, who else has done this:

15 1/2 seasons
played in every game every season but two where he played 15 games
four 1000 yard seasons as a tight end and is on pace for 1000 this season at age 36
three 10+ TD seasons and could get 10 this season
this may be the craziest, despite probably averaging around 80 receptions a season, he has 6 totals fumbles and only 2 lost fumbles and no lost fumbles since 2000

in addition to his stats, he is uncoverable and no one has ever had better hands than him.

who else has that kind of production from day one for 15 seasons

i did think his name was Ony.  it wasn't a typo.  i can't argue with you that the rest of the thread shouldn't be considered.

announcer in the saints game just suggested the saints take a safety punting out of their end zone with 50 seconds left while up 4.

Deon Sanders is also up there for best all time athletes. Jordan is first though.

(T)ony is a legend and Matt Ryan is becoming one. Drew Brees was the best player on the field, and the Saints dude with dreadlocks (I think his name is Chris Ivory) is the most underutilized guy in the league. (This is what happens when you draft a stiff like Ingram in the 1st round when RBs like Pierre Thomas and Ivory were already in your lap.)
Tony Go + Jimmy Graham = Rob Gronk

i don't know why the saints don't run the ball more.  they need to give their defense a break, among several other reasons they should run more.  i think the loss of payton is a huge deal.  there were a few dumb things today.  a big one was that idiot vitt challenging an obvious no fumble with 2 minutes left.  a waste of a timeout that they would have probably really needed if atlanta had scored.  little things like that can be huge but luckily didn't hurt NO today.

by the above standards, ryan may be the most underrated qb in the league.  the guy has been nothing but solid since he got drafted.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!! Matt Ryan is becoming a legend hahahahhahahahahahahahahha!!! You know nothing about football. He is a good quarterback, thats it. He hasnt won garbage. He gets to the playoffs and chokes. He is no where near being a legend. He will never be a hall of famer. He is not under rated. He is just in the top 15 of this league right now. To make a statement like that you have not watched football for very long.

Has Matt Ryan even won 1 playoff game in his career? 0-3. Even Tony Romo and Mathew Stafford have 1 playoff win.

What does it matter he hasnt won a playoff game....I dont care what you do in the regular season. He is not who I want on my team if I want to win a superbowl. Sorry dirtclub.

ok, se we're judging qb's by playoffs wins only?  then tebow is better than ryan, and sanchez is a hall of fame qb and one of the best ever.  dilfer is one of the all time greats, clearly better than marino,  and vick is surely better than ryan.  we could go on and on like this.

Shut up. You look stupid. Do you know MANY legends had not won garbage at the same point in their careers.
