#1 Posted: 8/15/2012 7:45:50 PM For me, this seems like the play of the day, I just need to dig a little deeper and find out who will be playing the majority of the game.
If the Packers play more of their starters at least for the first half, this can be an easy winner.
If the Packers decide to pull back and let the second stringers get more of a chance, the Browns could keep this game close. The Browns defense is what they are going to rely on the most, so we already know what the Browns game plan will be this season, even in preseason.
Let's be honest, the Packers could destroy the Browns in the regular season, and the Browns can surprise us all and dominate in preseason. (defense)
The Browns came from behind last week, and their second and third stringers got them the win. The Packers struggled and should be out for revenge in this matchup, even thought it is still preseason. They made crucial mistakes and looked way out of sync.
But there is no other team in the NFL the Packers would want to get back in sync against. I have no choice but to take the Packers in this one.
Green Bay Packers -3

that analysis was truly mind-numbing. it's like saying: "if a team gets hot this week, they can beat the other team." mmkayyy.
there's no "revenge" factor at play here. this is preseason. pack may cover, but not based on your arguments. sorry Footballsack |

#11 Posted: 8/16/2012 3:00:30 PM I don't understand the line at all ... which makes me think that they books are dying for GB money ... Face facts - Cleveland had the worst set of skill players in the NFL last year and they are going into GB and they are only +3 dogs ... that stinks! I am not playing it but this smells! |

#12 Posted: 8/16/2012 3:14:15 PM McCoy and Wallace gives the Browns a pre-season QB edge in my opinion. But they will go back to $hit in the regular season. |

#13 Posted: 8/16/2012 7:13:16 PM I need to make my analysis a little easier for readers. People dont undertand my strategies, but at the end of the night, when it wins, that's all that matters
Also for line movements, people look too much into that. It can swing both ways. Vegas wants or dont want you on the pick. Bad handicapping strategy IMO. Never came across anyone who profits strictly off of line movements.
Again BOL everyone. And thanks for the feedback! |

Yes and No. Graham Harrell is straight garbage tonight, we will see what Packers 3rd QB does in the second half before I call this game a loss. |

It's not the line movements that people were criticizing - it's the fact that an important aspect was overlooked - this is preseason - and when you are confident in preseason, there are serious flaws in your mindset and logic. Best of luck in this season |

Just admit you need help and get on with it ok? ? The answer was yes. Please every one pound the browns after this game over five wins Now since they beat up the packers with their dress rehearsal game. Please please please pound the browns over 5!!!!! |

Easy as 1, 2, 3 . Preseason is all about wagering on the opposite side of what the "logical" pick is. If you don't have the stones to do that, you're gonna lose a lot of money. |

#25 Posted: 8/17/2012 12:19:43 AM Cleveland was an easy winner, the analysis that needed to be looked at was the fact that the Browns play Philadelphia next week and in the first game of the season and did not want to use their dress rehearsal game next week, so they played it this week. The Packers are still banged up and were not going to play their starters any more than they had too. This was the easiest bet of the week. |
