On a side note, how the fuck does Bill Parcells and Chris Carter not get into the Hall of Fame?
agree on Parcells.
Carter - too much incessant promoting by espn buddies! don't know about you, but i've had it with athletes using broadcasting as a way to be promoted to hof. perhaps a backlash by voters this time.

I understand what your saying, but if you look at the all time stats for receiving. You will find the same people on that list Rice, Carter, Harrison, Brown......its every single list, i guess i know he will get in, i was just suprised that Chris Doleman and Willie Roaf get in before these 2.

no receivers selected. seems like they vote in cycles and this time it's linemen's turn.
i think the voter's vision is clouded by TODAY'S videogame-like throwing and catching.
Good point, still trying to think of another coach or front office person that has done more than Pacells has. He brought the Giants, Pats, Jets and Dolphins back from the dead. oh well, i guess there is always next year

wade phillips has done well bringing up defenses wherever he goes (Texans most recently). but he'll probably never be considered because: not a good record as headcoach w cowboys; i think he doesn't have a sb ring; older voters will probably keep him under shadow of his father, bum phillips.
