Would love to see your YTD record with units
And there you have it.
You go out of your way to prove you know nothing about being profitable in sports gambling.
I make more money going 51% than you do going 60%, and not only are you not aware of it, you have no idea why, why it is important, and how to fix it.
Carry on.

Because you are a 95%er. You will never be like me.
You will never be able to survive losing runs like I have for 10+ years. You will never be able to lose a few bucks on bowls, and then rip up NFL playoffs (which you tactfully ignore when pulling any previous picks).
Look, I know you are new here - but dont be a fool. You want to go toe to toe with me you will lose. Sorry pal. Im one of those people you say dont exist or is impossible - I havent had a job in this century, I make a living doing what you dream of. So next time you are daydreaming of what you are going to do on your lunch break or your two weeks vaca, think of me travelling between homes on my yacht or private jet and say to yourself "nobody makes money sports betting".

#35 Posted: 1/23/2012 10:19:48 PM Let me set the mother friggin record straight, I am the HNIC and thats old school terminology.....out of all the things said in here, (half the things bloke has written I can't uderstand, no offense just proof read sometimes), there is one true friggin fact, I try to teach people it all the time, but people just don't listen.....earthquake says to find a mush and bet against him, thats the only way to make serious dough......absolutely correct brother. I'm real deal Bloke, live in New York, lived in Costa Rica, was a pioneer of the online websites, offices with phones.....brother got more war stories then a friggin Vet...knig kong ain't got garbage on me......find'em and fade'em....only way you win if you gotta play, or else if you think your smart, and can beat any bookie, trust me never happen, human greed is a mother guy......been through billions of degenerates, but Ill keep that garbage to myself, never liked the beast of the business, just liked the money. About 17 years kids.....you were all still calling your mothersto come wipe your behind. |

Dude I wish nothing but the best for you, you are the one who started to attack me.
I'm still in college and have over 100k in my bank account and I've never worked 1 day in my entire life (not something I'm proud of) All thanks to poker and online poker.
However I still believe fading idiots is the way to go. I was recently at a poker table right before the Texans/Bengals game and I had no real lean on this game. Suddenly, the dealer starts going off at how much of a lock the under was and he would not shut up. Everyone at the table seemed to agree with him, so I took a break, went to the window and laid a bet on the over. It won, end of story.
Yes, you can certainly make a nice profit sportsbetting if you spend countless hours capping, I'd rather spend my time doing other things that I'm better at and spending time with friends. I love sports and have an instinct that is spot on sometimes, but it is very difficult to make a long term profit. Its doable, but not easy |

#37 Posted: 1/23/2012 10:33:35 PM This I also have to admit......years ago all people had was the newspaper for the lines.....no computer info, never any dogs being played.....but the past 10 years with the computers.....there are people who do win......rare but there are some......nobody ever won back in the day......pay pay pay.....but once again the sure way is find a loser and fade'em.....I do it still to pad my take.....I see where everyone goes.....it ain't easy taking the Browns and Rams....but having confidence and balls helps out. |

#38 Posted: 1/23/2012 10:35:35 PM I check the thread and holy garbage it's the guy that jinxed the 1 horse at aqueduct. Ya maybe I need to proof read but as it were in a 'Bronx Tale' I'm not looking to be feared I'm lookin to be loved
dont mean to sound cheesy but if the workin man is a sucker than call me that. I cant proof read a story that would take me 20 freakin pages to tell....
I hope all of you are on the winning side of things and to the 'find em and fade em' theory, most guys I saw down would hammer favorites in a situation they needed to get out of....thats what I saw
I literally saw a guy get into a fetal position and shake on the ground in his own house because the Vikings couldnt cover 8 in Chicago...hmmm...ATS the Bears at home and relying on Daunte Culpepper...we didnt touch em it was so pathetic....

excuse me...?...I am 6 years removed from it and ya it was the heat that got me out.
2 years ago I finally knew I was clean when I had to change my phone number for the 3rd time and noone rang it. If YOU know what I'm talking about the threat of violence is almost as effective as getting violent.
Hurting someone keeps em from working and working is how they pay you...a very difficult paradox |
