#35 Posted: 10/23/2011 11:33:09 PM what sucks his team actually won but its those stupid spreads that in the end got him. i still don;t get why theres spreads in football and basketball but not in baseball or hockey? maybe proline has something to do with this in football your team gotta win by 4 to be considered a win and before they ruled out betting on basketball it was by 5. great run still sucks u got only 25 k and tuppy got 100k with 2 wins less then u. |

#36 Posted: 10/23/2011 11:37:47 PM Just so you know, there are spreads in baseball and hockey, just most people don't bet them. They are 1.5 runs/goals. You get maddd payout with it if it hits since most of those games (baseball and hockey) are only decided by 1. It's a common strategy to bet on -1.5 on a favorite who's over -200 on the straight up moneyline.

#37 Posted: 10/23/2011 11:44:23 PM Everyone is talking about how lucky Jcoby was with his last couple picks but he probably was also lucky with some of his earlier picks to get the streak going it's just nobody was noticing. There is no way you are going to pick that many in a row against the spread without being more lucky than good. Give the guy credit for going that long picking every day.

#40 Posted: 10/24/2011 11:30:32 AM I can accept being screwed by Tom Brady or Drew Brees, but Christian Ponder is a little hard to swallow.
Just remember to give Alberta Pooholes half of the 25K,as his error made it possible for the Rangers to win game 2.If not for that,it would've gone into xtra innings. The Rangers may have won anyway, but his error negated any chances St.Louis may have had of winning in extra innings
That Rutgers game should've broken your streak, too,as their field goal kicker missed 2 field goals averaging 28 yards(25 & 31) and what would have been an 84 yard TD pass was dropped,so your luck was due to run out.
Anyway, congratulations and be sure to manage it well and spend it wisely |

#41 Posted: 10/24/2011 2:17:04 PM FINALLY..... your luck has run out, you should have lost a couple times especially Louisville, who must have a horseshoe up their butts, when Rutgers fieldgoal kicker missed 2 FG's, one a chipshot from I think the 20, not to mention, like everyone else has Texas and the Mich.St. game was the biggest joke of all. |
