#76 Posted: 9/14/2011 4:01:25 PM Yes. There is no way the Blue Jays can come back from the insurmountable 2 run lead with only 2 innings left. Go ahead and book it. Lol. Congrats on #22!

This post was a response to post #75 by Matt4477. In that post, on page #3, he said "looks like 22 is gonna hit! Wow!!!" The intent of my post was sarcastic in nature. I was sarcastically agreeing with Matt. Lol.
My point was that the game was far from over and that celebration was premature. I guess no one made the connection because my post was the first on a new page. Nice insult there, nuggins, although it was misplaced.

#82 Posted: 9/14/2011 4:39:33 PM I only wish that I had just quoted post #75 and responde in that way. That would have made the intent clearer for those that do not look at previous posts.

#86 Posted: 9/14/2011 4:42:33 PM With that said, I am sorry that MC2010's magnificent run has ended.
Congrats go to him or her on their winnings. We haven't seen anything like this in quite some time and probably will not for a long time to come.

#89 Posted: 9/14/2011 4:51:25 PM So Boston does MC2010 in. Cant argue with your pick MC2010. Hell of a run and you get to take home $25K. That's definitely worth your while. I'm standing up and giving MC2010 an ovation! |

For the record, the Red Sox were ahead 4-2 at the end of the seventh inning when I posted. There was nothing mean intended by post #76. I just responded to Matt and I guess that I may have gone about it the wrong way. I would certainly never gloat if someone was losing such an important pick.

#93 Posted: 9/14/2011 4:59:13 PM @ Mantastic - The response by Nuggins was hilarious! I laughed at it, myself.
@ Nuggins - You are exactly right, bro. I definitely should have quoted the post. Sarcasm is difficult thing to express in a forum. You're response was great. I just wanted you to know what I was really thinking.
That sucks that MC's run ended like that. He or she will be back, no doubt. Congrats again go out to them.

#95 Posted: 9/14/2011 5:24:00 PM Bama-I caught the sarcasm immediately because I know your style very well as we are both $25 Dime Club Members. Some of these guys don't know you that well and took it literally. But it's all good. No hard feelings I don't think just a case of people not knowing each other. Just like with Whitesmith's post. I had to take a second look at first because I didn't see the quotation marks but because we know Whitesmith as a member as well. I read it again and saw the sarcasm. |

#96 Posted: 9/14/2011 5:26:27 PM I want to thank Whitesmith again for tracking these high streaks. I think it's a great idea that you have because Covers doesn't give these streaks the attention it deserves. So hats off to Whitesmith for an outstanding job in highlighting these streaks. |

#98 Posted: 9/15/2011 6:34:14 PM Wow, nice work Bama. Sheesh, way to put the whammy on the guy. Too bad you aren't a quality capper that could put a streak together, then we could mock you after having it stopped on such an important pick. Dumbass.
