I felt I had to make both plays to win that pool.  I wish I would have just stuck to the side.  Those pools are fun.  You always have action,  and the payouts are same day.

Now it's time to make some serious cash on baseball....lets ride

I'm going to get serious here with a baseball streak.  There is slim pickins on the board,  but going with The Brew Crew for 3.

Roy Halladay could be done. Since May of 2012 Halladay has had a ERA hovering around 6 every month except August. He's had a rough Spring and even rougher April. Pitchers more than batters tend to lose it quick.

What do you guys think? Is Roy Halladay done?

So they demote Axford from the closing role..... Put him in for last out of the 7th.....  Put him in for the 8th and he gives up 3 to blow it.   Nice call!

Maybe the Bats finally began for the Jays today--down 6-1 to Texas and came roaring back to win it---now if the much ballyhooed new starters can START, the Jays might too

I need to end this Survivor slump. That was a painful loss yesterday with Milwaukee-Orlando. I took the Under only to have Orlando tie it up with a last second 3 pointer to send it to OT. Of course the number went Over 201.5 and a sure win was turned into a loss. Wow!

Dodgers-Padres Brawl! Greinke broke his collarbone. LMAO what a clown. He throws at Quentin and then ducks after egging Quentin on. In the process of ducking Quentin nailed Greinke and the idiot now has a broken collarbone. Absolutely amazing. He's out for the next 2 months after signing that $146 Million contract. Apparently from what I have read Greinke has hit Quentin 3 times.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kobe as he faces this tremendous challenge and devastating injury. No question this will have a major impact on the Lakers decisions this summer. Now making the Playoffs doesn't seem as important as the steps that need to be taken for the future of the Franchise. We must be patient Laker Nation. There are crucial days ahead.

Once again we're faced with a cowardly attack by some lunatic whether they be foreign or domestic. Pray for the families affected by this tragedy and pray for America. Terrorist will never win. We will stay strong and we will not bow down to the tactics of fear and terror. Nothing can be gained when these acts occur so it's a zero sum game for the perpertrators. Stay strong and be vigilant! Don't let the cowards win!!!

Damn, 10 game streak lost last night :(

I really need to stop from getting so anxious to pick and leave the games alone when there isn't one with a good feel.

My first instinct was Islanders over Panthers, but that game wasn't available. I should have left it alone until another night, but I decided to take Vancouver over St. Louis and then I lose in a shootout! My gut was telling me to go with the Under on that game too, but my head was telling me that there have been way too many unders between these teams and with the Blues in general, and that was what killed me.

I'm also in a different situation that most here because I don't follow baseball at all (or basketball), so any picks for MLB would have been purely guesses. I was worried that my streak would continue to grow and still be alive after the NHL playoffs if my picks were too far apart and I would have to pick baseball games, so that kind of made me rush picks when I shouldn't have.

I guess the lesson is to be patient and to go with your instincts.

Oh well, back to 0...

Good luck to everyone :)

Keldrin- I think we have all been there before. Unfortunately I just left where you're at so I'm all to familiar with it. My problem is when I don't have a streak I tend to pick anything and only start focusing when I'm up to W2.

I do the same thing. If I don't have at least 2 wins then I often don't even look at what I'm picking, I just randomly click and my pick is wherever the mouse lands :)

I have a feeling Anabal Sanchez comes down to earth tonight against Angels.   Just a feeling but putting it on a win 6.
