I've implemented a system where once I have hit a streak of 2 games I increase my unit bet by ~50%. This has proven to bring in profits if I can continue the streak for a few more games
This is what my bet pattern would typically be:
Wins
1, 1u
2, 1u
3, 1.5u
4, 2u
5, 3u
6, 4.5u
7, 7u
8, 10u
and so on and so forth. This system essentionally locks in 50% of your unit bet from the previous number and guarantees profit while mininmizing risk. I have started posting my survivor plays in the baseball forum for anyone who wants to follow.

I am trying to get back to .500 too.....I am 480-485-35 longest streak 13. That streak got me a jacket to go with like 6 hats and an I-pod I've won. Still trying to get some of that cash though...lol |

Once I was referred to this site, I took it as BS and made BS picks. Once I saw REAL PEOPLE making REAL $$$$$$, I realized this place is legit!
I don't study the games - I study the PARTICIPANTS and ride the hot winners coat-tails. (Not home enough to study all the 'particulars' of each sport on my own!).
After a HORRENDOUS start, I'm finally closing in on .500. Once I cross it, I don't plan on being under ever again. |

#91 Posted: 5/24/2009 5:38:11 PM Well no .500 mark today. The rays had a chance to get the win in the ninth and get my streak to 6 but the Marlins won it in 11. Disappointed. Time to start with another streak tomorrow with Verlander going tomorrow. |

Starting to get nervous now. I bet baseball every day, and just choose my favorite game for the survivor. The only time I skipped a day was Friday when I had only 3 games i liked, and 2 of them weren't on the survivor board, and I didn't consider the one that was a "best bet". Good thing...I went 0-3 that day!
I may start getting a bit more selective now ... not necessarily doing a pick every day.

Current streak is only 1 now but hey, that means I'm perfect in June...
Sometimes my favorite pick of the day is not listed so I go with whatever looks best...
Many times I'll go with my home teams (Philadelphia), but playing with your heart is not very smart...
I don't delve into too much research, my wife thinks I waste to much of my life staying up half the night playing various free sportsbetting sights and I'm beginning to believe her, but damn do I love this stuff!!!
If anyone plays ESPN fantasy games... join my groups in any sport, from fishing to football, I play them all!! If you do a groups search, my group is always called "NAKED PICS"... E-mail me and I'll put you in my fantasysports address book and contact you when I create a new group...
